Thank you. I appreciate that
Ion even have a Tahoe but ima still watch it🤣💀
Deal. Works on that too.
That’s a Tahoe z71 just an FYI but pretty much the same just less luxurious and power as well stock that is
@@thatmdguy4557 yep same components work.
😂💯 ong
Lmao 😂 same
Got to LOVE a Dropped Tahoe. Brother that looks hella better. AWESOME!!!
Thank you Frank. I love the look.
I’m considering doing this to my Escalade. That was very comprehensive. I wasn’t sure how it’d work with a front axle. Now I do. Thank you.
Thank you. It's such a great look for these years.
I just ordered the Belltech 2/4 kit. Probably only going to go 3 in the rear because my Yukon is an XL and she might see some weight in the cargo area.
Probably a good idea
TWA Motorsports Finished the front drop this weekend. Swapped out everything, upper and lower control arms, belltech knuckle, hub, sway bar links, and the belltech sp shocks. Rear will get done next weekend.
Came across these videos when I had my 04 Cateye single cab I lowered it watching these videos now I own a 05 bubble eye Burban definitely going to lower it watching this video🔥🔥🔥 great content
Thank you 👍
This just made my night !!! I’m definitely lowering my denali !
Lol. You need to
Where u got the kit?
All parts listed in video description
I have a 02 denali xl about to do the same thing 3/4 drop. Thanks for showing what to do front and back. Glad I whach before I got started. Cant wait to see more vids.
It is sold now but made several videos on it.
what the max size tire you’d recommend running? i’m okay with some trimming.
stock 275/55-20 would be pushing it.
@@TWAMotorsports i had 24 inch rims on mine 295/35 24 , Looked unbelievable but what a disaster !!!! trust the master !
You did a great job...who doesn't love a slammed truck...that's what modding vehicles is all about...taking something and making it different than factory...but it still functions well if not better!!! Thank u for this video.
Thank you. I agree. Still functions for what I need.
Always loved this body style Tahoe, looks damn good dropped 👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you
Im working on getting a tahoe and my idea is to drop it, all my friends tell me to get silverados instead but id rather follow my heart get the tahoe since I’ve always love those cars since a kid and now im watching this to be able to drop the truck after i get it this was very helpful keep up the good work boss 💯
Thank you. Good luck on yours
No quema cuh where the tacuaches at cuh
Lmao 🤣
I’m going to be one in da future cuh finna drop la Yukon de mi pa 🤣
It took me 2 nights to finish the video but it was well worth it. Tahoe looks bad ass
Thank you
Make me want too get one 🔥
You could buy mine lol
TWA Motorsports how much are you selling it for? I’m in Colorado but will drive to pick it up since I enjoy long rides
Already sold
Me too! After saw what him do I start looking for one and find it, 2005 Chevy Tahoe Z71
They are getting harder to find in good shape unfortunately
And hell yeah thats a bad ass useful tahoe. I was stuck at a home depot, no 4wheel drive😢. Drive through ice like nothing and look good. Good job. Great video
I appreciate that
Im finally lowering my 04 suburban 4x4. "Lower Everything!" hahah love it!
Lol. I lower it all.
Awesome video bro how much inches drop spindles in the front & did you just replace the upper control arms with stock ones great video

All parts used are listed in the video description
Low is the only way to go I'm looking for a Tahoe now. Thank you for sharing
Thank you
It was a little tedious but as long as you got the right tools it makes it a whole lot easier! Good stuff 👍🏿
Thank you

Lol. I hear that alot

Thanks for posting this with so much detail!
The only video i found that answers all the questions i had.
Thank you. Glad I could help
I have been waiting on this video since you bought it. I knew it would make a ride. Ironic tomorrow I'm putting helper bags on my 12 avalanche so glad video came out today. I used your parts list slamming it. Awesome! ✌
Thank you Jeff. It definitely changed the looks. Good luck on your build too.
Love it I just bought a 2004 for my son and this is what we are about to do. Thanks
Thank you
Been Wondering Where To Even Start On My Tahoe! But You My Good Sir, Figured It All Out For ME!
Thank you
I appreciate the video bro you are the only guy on UA-cam with this process. 👍
Thank you
I’ve been wanting to drop my tahoe for the longest but scared on how it would look. This is making me just want to do it even more😂
Yeah its not hard if you take your time.
One of the best how too videos I’ve seen
Thank you
I’m going to lower my moms 2014 Escalade. I can’t wait. She’s going to love it. Thanks dude.
You're welcome. That will look great
Just want to say thanks. your video helped me get everything for my Tahoe and get it lowered right !
Thank you. Glad it helped you out.
I really appreciate all your videos!! I'm in the middle of dropping my 01 tahoe. Removed the bump stops today,, that was a chore..but got i em out...Im not doing any towing with this truck so do I really need the helper bags or are they only needed when you tow?
If you aren't towing you don't have to have them. Put a sub box in the back and I would want them though
Want to say that I love the way it came out. I have a 03 Yukon Denali XL that I was thinking about lifting it, but let’s face it I live in Florida and you’ve just changed my mind on what to do with it. Thanks for all the info and just subscribed to check out more of your stuff. 👍🏽
Thank you
Best choice you could do man
Love the step by step break down on the how to. Much better then most other channels that just show the finish product at the end of it. Tahoe looks great dropped. Two thumbs up brother
Thank you. I want to make it easy for someone who hasn't tried it.
I did something similar ended up with 29.5 inches middle of fender to the ground. Running 295/40/20. I have to jack it up to get it on my lift. I added rear load bags for when I tow my drag car. But tuff asf man good job
Thank you. I love the way these things look lowered.
I had 2/4 drop on my 04 yukon denali. The front were 2” torsion key and im having problems trying to level it with the rear. I want the same height as the rear but after I installed the torsion key in the front it just slammed the front down. I tried turning it up all the way and turn in down and it looks like it’s not going nowhere. Your tahoe look sick🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you. Generally the stock keys will do close to 2"
hello, ive been looking at a lot of videos since i retired, but let me just say.,this video was awesome every detail, every move, very informative..like i said give credit where it is due...fantastic job,i just subscribed and thank you, looking forward to more great content,a retired machinist
Thank you for those comments. I love to hear both when I do bad or good
I'm liking it. I never cared for the Yukon or Tahoe until recently. I was a Suburban or truck guy, very utilitarian, but I get it now. I'd like to do a Tahoe Z71 sort of like this but with a Denali/Escalade AWD transfer case, a poor man's Denali, fun and comfy cruiser.
Thank you
If your on a budget can you just buy the springs , shock stuff and shocks and bump stop or is the sway bar and arm relocation necessary
I wouldn't
Just ordered a 3/4 drop for my cateye swapped Yukon Denali. Can't wait to see it sitting low, nice Tahoe man!
Thank you. Hopefully your drop will go good.
I used the powerstop brake kit with calipers pads and slotted and drilled rotors. I can stop on a dime man. You'll love them
They are great
I'm planning on doing this to my 2006 chevy tahoe 4wd. Thanks for this video. I am planning to go mcgauyhs spindles in front but bell tech front and rear performance shocks and struts. I already had the whole exterior raptor lined.
Nice
Hey man thanks for making this detailed video, 2 days ago I bought an old 2002 Escalade 6.0 AWD it came on a set of 22’s and the air ride is blown. I was looking around how to slam it since it looked good laid out lol. I now have my answer how to slam the rear properly.
Thank you. Hopefully it helps
I appreciate people like you
Thank you
Great video! I’ve got an 03 I lowered years ago with only keys. Needless to say I wanna go back my factory keys and put a two inch drop spindle and the arms so I can get my alignment where it needs to be. Question is what are the control arms I noticed they are moog but are they factory replacements that juts have more adjustment or does moog make a control arm for lowered vehicle?
Listed in description of video. Stock replacement with 2 degrees of additional adjustment
Luv it I have 2005 with a 3/4 drop it ride amassing luv the way u explain every little detail keep it coming thanks
Thank you
Video is 8 months old but recently purchased a 05 tahoe so definitely checking the vid! Subscribing a mist! Sweet appreciate the vids!
Thank you. Glad I could help
Hello. I followed your video and it was super helpful. But on my Escalade ext 04 the passenger side side hits the pan hard bar bracket. Not sure what I did wrong. Can you help?
Did you use the djm relocation kit on the rear?
Hey Travis thanks for all your work, i have been watching a lot and have jumped back in and bought a 2003 Green Z71 Suburban w 108k miles in Fine shape...its arriving tomorrow and i have had a month to order and collect all the stuff you used for the Tahoe will be used on this Sub, Lowering and lighting and i also added Hellwig Sway Bars, pricey but Sweet!
Nice
I bought a 2004 Yukon Denali someone had lowered but they didn't do everything you did I got to do some of the things you did to see if it's halfway rightthanks a lot for the video it helped me out a lot at least it's a beginning
Glad ot helped
Thank you for your help and your video I think I need to the metal out where the stops and relocate the put the trailing arm extensions on and a sway bar lynx
When relocating the sway bar did you drill the wholes on both sides
No, just one.
TWA Motorsports Wich side
@@chris.lowhoe7417 driver. Just like shown the video.
came here to get confidence to slam my Avalanche. love it all....you got a new subscriber
Thank you. Hopefully it helps your project
Really loved this tutorial. I have a question about how this would work on a 03 yukon denali, it has air suspension system.
It will. You need to delete the air suspension
Great video thanks.
Quick question , I just installed both sides new UCA'S along with the belltech 2" drop spindles. I cut the upper ball joint studs as supposed to however , now the passenger side CV axle boot is Damn near touching the upper ball joint Nut , where as the driver side has approximately 1/4 to 3/8 " clearance. I haven't set it on the ground but can't figure out why the variance. Any thoughts that could possibly resolve my issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ✌
No idea unless one side cv has been replaced
Good video! Question, have you replaced torsion bar mounts on a Tahoe, Yukon etc?
Thank you. No I haven't
Im about to replace my torsion bar mounts in a couple months , when I catch up , too busy, right now. Sucks there welded on! Theres no videos for that exact repair. I have been searching. The coilover conversions , have problems in the long run , from what I have seen so far, if you keep researching.
I have an 04 escalade that I did torsion keys 2-3" and rear 2" springs with extenders and belltech sport shocks looks like I have to do spindles since the ride is bad in the front with 22" wheels and the rear will bottom out over big bumps even with bump stops trimmed I may have to do free travel mod as well.
All those things will definitely help
How did you come to the particular air bags you used? That part# you gave doesn't list a tahoe at all...it seems every vid I watch someone used a different part# from Air Lift...
I understand the spring is shorter; but this is the 4th different p# from 4 different searches. Last one was p# 60811 to use with a 4" drop spring...
Several different ones fit
Hey Travis what all do I need to do the rear drop? I know I need springs, shocks, shock extenders. Do I need anything else?
All items needed are linked in the description
Love it, looks perfect! I am going do this to my 2006 Yukon, thank you for all the information.
Thank you
Love all your lowering info on your SUV's. I got a pair of offset upper control arm for my 03 denali. How can I tell the difference from the regular control arm and the offset arm? I haven't taken out the stock arms off yet to see the different with comparison.
thank you.The hole in the bushing isn't in the center. its closer to the body when installed.
I know it’s an older video. But did cutting the front bump stops/jouce stops ride good and whatnot?
Rode fine
Thanks for the video and helpful tips, but wanted to ask will all this work on a 2005 tahoe 2 wheel drive? Thank you
Yes it is the same parts even.
Love the look! In my opinion I would swap the wheels off of the Sierra on to the Tahoe beings that it is a “Tahoe” wheel and not only that I just believe the Sierra looked so much better with the machined stocks
Thank you. I actually like the polished with the chrome Sierra bumpers.
Looks dope!! Your truck, your build, who cares if others don't like it lol
Thank you. I agree. I'm gonna do me👍
when i did my sway bar i changed the end links from the kit but on the d rings i used both original locations. i didnt move the driver side over.
👍
Looks awesome, haters can hate but it's not their vehicle. I'm trying to decide if I want to lift or lower my 2016 Silverado Z71, going to think about it a little longer. Great video!
Thank you. I agree, can't please everyone. I love it so.....😎
Looking at doing this on my 03 4x2.... did you not have an issue with the rear panhard bar length? I figured it wouldn't kick the whole rear end out to one side.
No issues with panhard but did add adjustable one later before I sold it.
How to you feel about oxy fuel cutting when it comes to the frame and frame attachments like the bump stop
Definitely faster but hard to be accurate
Love the video… Tahoe looked awesome. I am lowering my 06 Yukon Denali. Using spindles in the front. Do I need the a arms too to align it? Thanks
Not if you are inly going 2" with spindles
I just finished watching this it looks good man supper clean look and liked how easily it was done and how informative you video was
Thank you
I do have a question my kit came in with some new stop bumps, so I was wondering do I really need to cut them off and not use them ?
Its up to you. I showed the way I do it. I don't buy a kit though
@@TWAMotorsports thanks 💯
Hey, question I have is regarding the sway bar relocation. I’m either confused or don’t get it. I could simply be missing the point. What’s the point of it?
Thank you.
To get it parallel to frame so it does its job correctly
@@TWAMotorsports I understand now.
Thank you! Dropping my Tahoe as soon as the sway bar comes in.
All thanks to you. I appreciate all the info.
You're welcome
I did everything you did I still feel bouncy in the back got new shocks and still bouncy any advice to fix the bouncy
Never had that issue
I have a question brother, there is no problem if I only use torque wrenches and put new upper A weapons without changing the splinters, is there any negative consequence?
No idea what you are saying
Look so good I had to find out how you did it. Looks a little complicated but you made the video so we'll. I'm going to do the same next year. I finally bought my 2000 Chevy Tahoe. I also took off the roof racks. I'm doing the same replacing the bolts to shorter ones. And painting them. I would prefer if they made small caps that go over the bolts in white. Thanks buddy. I also ordered everything from Amazon all lights all LEDs. I also took off the running boards. And I also took off the side moldings. And also took off all the emblems.
Thank you. It sounds like you are off to a very good start.
We did the rear today. Thanks to your videos
Glad I could help
You talked about shorter bump stops on the rear what Bill tech number were they
Just a shorter. Or can cut another down
Have you ever used the Spohn adjustable panhard bar? What about a coilover conversion?
Yes on panhard no on coilovers
What about a Denali with rear air shocks? Just replaced mine. Wanna lower it with some 24's
Have to remove the autoride
Did you have to install shorter shocks ? I just did a 3/4 drop on my tahoe but the rear end jumps like crazy on a couple bumps ? Really appreciate the help
Sure do
Chido trabajo
It’s the same process to Cadilac scalade 2002 ?
Yes
These yukon n tahoe, when lowered is the front wheels always slammed n off on one side of the fender? when on even pavement the front looks even but when down hill, the front wheels r so low. is this cause by the shocks cuz there is no spring to support the height or level like regular cars?
I'm not sure why they do that.
Question can I use maxtrac 3/4 drop kit spindles, lowering springs, shock extenders and keys, but the rest of the other parts you mention do to this mod?
Probably make a better ride but if you thinknit rides ok. Leave it.
Hello travis i just grabbed the same wheels as those i like your tire profile was wondering what was the tire size and type thanks in advance
Link in video description but if I remember correctly 275/45
@@TWAMotorsports Another question i was wondering if u had to get wheel adapters i went t get the rims put on and the bolt pattern is like a hair smaller if u did do u remember the size?? Sorry im a pain in the ass but i love your truck look!! Super clean
Wheels here are direct bolt ons. You bought the wrong wheel
When ordering the DJM relocation kit. The pic of the one at the top of list shows two straight swaybar links. Does it actually come with one curved? In the description it says curve to clear.....
Yes. Generic pictures I assume
Love the Tahoe and like that you took the luggage rack off! Great job!
Thank you
Whats the length of the bolt with the new hardware for the sway bar d rings? I tried using my old ones and they're to long for the new holes.
No idea. This is sold
I think this setup looks very well in this body style. Now I’m gonna lower mines
I agree and thank you
My 01' suburban and my Dad's 04' Tahoe are both 2wd and both have torsion bar front suspension. Was some of the 2wd SUV's coil spring vehicles?
I don't think so in this body style
I love it because I’m thinking about buying a Chevy tahoe just like the video and buy a drop kit just like this video💯
Thank you
What part number did you use for the a arms? I have a lot of camber on mine thanks in advance
All parts listed in video description
I want to ask you something, after I lower my Tahoe when I'm on the street and I go over potholes, the rear end sticks really badly, like petal with metal and it feels super bad, do you know what's causing that and how can I fix it?
No idea. Did you cut out the bump stop and bracket?
Wouldn’t change a thing,you nailed it.Good job.
Thank you. I love the look
Hey man when you dropped the front what did you do with the shocks did you swap them out or just leave the stock ones in?
Pretty late here. I got the 2/3 beltech kit for my 2004 escalade awd. Will i need to do the free travel mod, and djm endlinks if only doing 3 in the rear?
No. 4 inches or more yes
@@TWAMotorsports sweet. Thankyou 😎
@@TWAMotorsports sweet. Thankyou 😎
@reyaguilar104 you're welcome
i use a bottlejack up by the yoke and a floor jack where u have it work great i do them rearend alot
That would work well
I have the belltech drop kit with drop spindles and lowering torsion key do I need to install the lowering torsion keys before I can put the pro street 2 nitrogen drop shocks I am trying without the torsion keys I can tighten top bolts but can't get bottom bolt through to finish
Shouldn't matter which goes on first
I have a lowered 2003 2wd suburban. these thing look so much better on the ground!
I agree they definitely do
2006 Suburban is what we have, it’s a project one or for messing around with but we loosened the torsion bars all the way and removed the spring and shocks in the back. It was slammed low but way to stiff to drive around in😂
Lol. Yeah that would be rough. Too much drop on torsion bars rides rough.
The shorter bump stop you put in the discerption , do they fit on the Escalade 02 ?
I’m just confusing cause on Amazon it tells me it doesn’t and I don’t wanna waste money on nothing but they still if on the Escalade 03 ?
They are universal
My question is can you use the same factory parts , I have a 2008 Cadillac Escalade and I’m going to drop 2”front/5”rear all springs only
I don't like springs in front on those
@@TWAMotorsports what would you use instead of springs
Spindles and drop struts. I made a video if you search how to lower tahoe
