You guys surely knew I was going to be lowering this thing. I actually had some of the parts ordered before I got the Yukon. In Todays video I am going to show you how to remove the emblems or badges from a GMC Yukon or Chevrolet Tahoe. I am going to show you what a entire tinted windshield looks like in a chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon Denali. I also am going to show you what parts and how to lower a gmc yukon denali, gmc yukon, chevy tahoe, chevrolet tahe and escalade. This will work to lower a 2wd or 4wd gmc yukon. I am going to show a couple different parts from mcquaghys and belltech. I will probably install the other parts down the road. This is an easy to follow how to lower gmc yukon and chevy tahoe video. These are parts I know work and ride great. All the parts are listed and fit several models. This drop is roughly 2/4.5. It will probably settle a little bit. I would like to get a 3/5 but no good rear springs are available. Let me know what you think of the lowered yukon or dropped yukon.

The other day I was on my way to garden city and I saw a familiar house with a lowered Sierra out front!
I live in Missouri
@@TWAMotorsports hahahaha yeah I didn’t want to say it😂 but I live in Kansas
Lol
You live close to Travis????? You lucky duck!!!!!
I don't think so
Im from owasso!! Living in Central Cali now
Small world.
I live in Missouri my self. How do you get away with tinting all the windows so dark? I have 5% on my truck but a lot of people get hammered hard on there tint.
I'm just lucky I guess. Drive like an old man too
I dont tint the front 3 windows. the rest are 5% and less. so if I do get pull over. the police can not say anything about the front 3 windows
That's true
I was going to ask the same thing about the windshield.
You could always go to your eye doctor and get a prescription
At 20:01 your video starts doing some weird strobing shit. It returns to normal at 21:16.
Ok. Thank you
That horse shoe looking waaher goes on the back of spindle not between splash shield and spindle
Also you can take whole spindle and hub as one piece and separate them on ground. Stock 3 hub bolts 11546341 have larger head than replacement 15719028 or you van get Dorman replacement 917-517. That way you can easy undo them with axle in place
Thank you
Looks dope
Thank you
Quick question boss what would you recommend me to use for my 2015 Tahoe LTZ it does have autoride and it’s 2wd i want it to set like this
Same parts I used. All linked in video description
Incredible looking truck. I just purchased a short body Escalade (2WD) that looks nearly that same color. I was considering tinting and dropping it to that same color and stance. After seeing yours I’m super excited about doing it with mine. Thanks for the vid. New subscriber 👍🏾
Thank you. Good luck on yours
Hi there travis my name is jose i seen your videos and like them the way you explain and everything
I have a question i just got me a tahoe 2023 and i was just wondering if you happen to know what would i need to lower it
Thank you. Not much available for those yet. Just 2.5" drops
Thanks for answering do you have a link or something to guide me where to buy or what to buy for that 2.5 “. If is not to much to ask thanks again
Haven't really looked into it
By cutting off the bump stop does it weaken the frame ? Are the sway bar links necessary?
No weakening. If you want the best ride all parts used are needed. Most cheap out and then complain about ride quality
That's right just how tint all my cars 0%
I replaced the belltech springs with 5" spring from same company the relocation control arms came from. I got them on ebay and it was faster shipping then website.
I will check into that.
Your the man!
Thank you
I just installed 2/4 drop. It was sitting nice overnight then the air turned on and pushed the rear back up. To keep the ride height down shorten the rod correct ? I marked where the old spot was but maybe its still too long ?
Yeah that probably needs some adjustment
@@TWAMotorsports shortened the rod and now we are riding better
Looks so good... Brother great video....
Thanks Tony. You got that sneak peek
@@TWAMotorsports definitely did it was epic...
Not sure epic lol
Thanks for the videos Travis, your the reason I slammed my 2004 Yukon, the 2017 Denali is looking mint, question whats the minimum wheel fender gap your comfort in the front? mine is at 32" off floor with 1.5" gap running 285/50R20 Goodyear the back is at 33" off floor. Keep up the great content!
Its really more of what doesn't rub. 32 would be perfect but don't want that small of tire.
I have a 2015 yukon denali on 26 " rims and i want to lower the rear to make it leveled with the front. I was reading one of the questions that was asked to you about that and you said 2 " smaller spring. Do you have to adjust the air ride ?. I would appreciate your help on this matter.
Probably a small amount of adjustment
After 7 years do you think I should remove my plastics? They are fading away. Thanks.
What plastic?
The side moldings.
I decided to keep mine but if they fade I will remove them
Do I need to adjust the front leveling sensor as well as the rear leveling sensor (done 3 inches) and good, what about the front side, do I need to do something or not (to keep the front struts working well)
I totally agree with you on maintaining a little rake with your drop. “Leveling kits” always make trucks look like the rear is a little lower. I do not care for that look.
Thank you. That is exactly what I am talking about. Not my style
I'm currently running the Belltech 1019 kit that you did a video on years ago. To make a long story short, I'm teater totting on the airbag ride height switch limit for the stance I'm trying to achieve "No Rake," and wanting to know if the LCA relocators would help with that? Without any air in the bags, it'll sit nearly on the tires "24s" so I know that the ride height I'm wanting is achievable. Please let me know what you think. But I have the Belltech 1019 kit, hose on the top of the springs, sway bar end links, and shock relocator.
And if so, can the LCA relocator be purchased by itself?
Thanks in Advance!
Relocation kit doesn't affect the ride height
That Denali is looking like a badass family hauler.
Thank you. We love it
Really fantastic job on the drop. I agree that a bit more low on the front would complete the look.
Thank you. That will probably be happening
I have a 2015 Tahoe 4wd I would like this set up what kit would I need it doesn’t have mag ride
Same kit should work fine
@@TWAMotorsports how low is it?
@@TWAMotorsports is there an actual kit I can buy or is everything sold separately
2/4
I dropped my white one a while back. You can use that kit. Link in that video description. White Yukon Denali
So many people debadging their trucks.......what are you doing with the badges once you take them off? So many people like myself would love to buy them from you.
I used to keep them. Now I throw them away.
Question for you. I see that you said upper ball joint was going bad. After you did drop did you have snapping sound comming from front end. My ball joints are loose and 2 months agter drop it syarted to make clumk on snap noise on hard brake and acceleration after that. But only on hard brake. ????
Probably cv shafts
It will do it in 2wd or auto setting, so i dont think its cv shafts since there is no power to them in 2wd mode right ?
They are always turning. 4wd or 2wd
What's the best riding parts you've used? I just bought a 14 4wd. I've also read that the rear sway bar needs the end links swapped, do you do this?
I show and list in video description all the parts I recommend
I have a denali 2016 2WD can I get away with it by just dropping rear 3inch and leaving the front how it is with the same kit your using
You can
Hi Sr. sorry by my English I have a question. I bought the drop cups with spacers, I drop like 2" but a that Point the Outer Tie Rod is not horizontal like the chevy comes as factory o maybe a little down inclination, now after I drop it, has some up inclination , so when you get a bump in the road in only one side, the outer tie rod pull too much towards in the wheel in and it becomes inestable the car, I feel the car shake in the front a some inestability I guess if you drop more the car is going to be worse, I don't if this is you car and if you has feel something like that with the spindles .Good video thank you.
I love the model of this GMC SUV... its gonna look SICK when you lower it..😉👍
Thank you.
I have a question what if I put the trailblazer spring and the relocator for the shocks to lower it a bit well that work cause I’m not trying to cut nothing from the frame?
This is a trailblazer spring. Needs to be cut
What is your opinion on ride quality versus the two different Springs tbss vs the 5305 beltech ??
Not a ton of difference in my opinion. Tbss may be a little softer
@@TWAMotorsports thank you !
@@TWAMotorsports overall is it much stiffer then stock?
You're welcome
@@mikeharvey7715 it is stiffer
All pimped out!🔥🔥🖤
Yes sir
I don’t think you should heat it up cuz in the video whwre the Denali is ta you can see that it bent down
what is the brand of the kit you are using
Not a kit. All parts listed in video description
I love how everytime I’m about to lower something I come across your videos I lowered my nbs with your advice now I’m lowering a Tahoe
Lol. It all gets dropped here.
Hey man, I've watched all of your lowering vids over the past few years for your SUVs. NUMEROUS times. That's how I found your channel. Which I love BTW. But I lowered my '05 Escalade a year ago and didn't install the sway bar end links. I just ordered new shocks so I grabbed the end links and lower control arm relocation brackets. Ended up buying the Spohn lower control arms because I decided to get their adjustable panhard bar. Just wondering if you have installed that (panhard bar) on any of these Tahoes or Yukons and if not, why? Is it something you've looked into? It seems most with the "extreme" 5+ drops went that route to center everything up in the rear. There's a couple vids on it as it's a simple swap. Just curious.
Really need an adjustable one at the drop I do and have in the past.
Was the name of rims the Yukon on bro..
Stock denali wheels
This Yukon will definitely need Escalade Tail Lights
I'm not in love with that conversion
Looks good man! You’re right, it does look the tiniest bit low in the back. Overall a killer looking Yukon though.
Thank you. I guess it's the angle.
Hello, I have been catching up on your old and new videos, just ran across your channel. I am going to lower my wife's 18' Yukon soon. Just curious why you piece together your own kit and use trailblazer rear springs instead of the Belltech kit Part #: 1020SP that comes with everything. Also, is cutting the rear frame needed or you do this for better ride quality? Thanks, I like how detailed your videos are. -PJ
I don't like kits because they don't allow me to get the best parts. This set up rides the best. If going more than 3 inches in back you need to cut in the rear.
Thanks for the quick response, I appreciate it.
@user-rc6so4hs6h you're welcome
Did the video start glitching around 20min or is my phone tweeking
It did. Camera issues
What size is the allthread for the ride height sensors I have everything else ready just want to be 100% before I start
In my opinion, all cars and trucks look much better when lowered
Not going to argue with that statement
With a Belltech 2/4 on 2019 tahoe do you know if it needed to be cut?
I would
Hey 👋 How u doing? I have front shock absorbers failed/leaked on Cadillac 2015, l want to replace it on something not magnetic, it’s to cold here where I live so they don’t last long. Which absorbers or struts would you recommend? Best wishes from Russia 🇷🇺
Thank you!
I would probably use belltech street performance but you will jave to find a way to bypass the suspension codes.
Hi, i did exactly what you explained with 3 inches at the back and 2 inches at the front Everything adjusted But I got ( service suspension system)
The pump starts pressurizing frequently with a very short time not like before installing the kit
And it looks like there is air leaking sound
what should I do or fix it
Find the leak and fix it
Why in the hell are they using "degrees beyond torque" for control arms? Almost seems ludacris.
That is gm spec
Mr TWA question, wanted to know before I take out the senors what size all thread is that you replace the stock ones with? like your step by step tutorial, will drop my 2020 Denali xl all wheel drive with your inspiration... thanks Man....
I think 1/4" if I remember correctly
Looks really good. Can anyone help me out with this answer...what is the height if the vehicle after being settled and this exact drop? I'm trying to fit mine in my garage 😅.....I know, I know. But Great video!
Came down about 3 in front 4.5 in back.
WOW , I'm really liking your channel !!! I just caught one of your Vids here last week and now I'm subscribed !!!
GREAT Explanation and Hands on shot. I'm hooked, THANKS
Thank you
Brother... can I just bring you my Yukon to do? Appartment living sucks, because i dont have a place to do it, and shops charge a fortune. lol
I wish I had time
@@TWAMotorsports I’ll bring pizza and beer. 😂
Not a drinker but even then no time.
Can i get name of the kit you installed?? I have a tahoe 2017
All parts listed in video description. It's individual parts.
Is the Belltech 2514 drop spindle interchangeable with the 2511 drop spindle for the previous generation? They look nearly identical.
I don't think so
Anybody from LA that can do the job ? For my 2013 tahoe
I don't know anyone out there
How much did you cut of the pin level sensor
Please
Didn't cut. Used 1/4 inch all thread and I explained the process in the video
Thank you for your videos. Because of your videos I was able to drop my tahoe 4" with out to many problems
Thank you. Glad I could help
@@TWAMotorsports I know what tools I would need. what problems I might encounter removing and installing the kit. So it became a piece of cake.
Whats up TWA, where is the video where you removed the door trim on the green sierra...also are you able to reuse the trim?? Can't find that video.. thanks for everything
Have several videos removing trim. Green tru k really didn't have any
Looks great good job badge removal, the drop and tint make the truck look good
Thank you. I'm sure liking it
Sway Bar Mount Relocation - Left/Driver Side: It appears that the holes you drilled are an inch to the right and towards the rear or not even with the originals. Was that intentional and if so, how did you determine how far back to move them? Also, how does that affect the Right/Passenger side?
They are moved over 1 to 2 inches. Instructions show pictures
Looks great! Love the stance. How much did you drop it? You probably said & I missed it.
Thank you. About 3/4.85
man.. where are u located! i need u to do my truck !!
Sorry but don't do work for others
Looks legit Travis! I'm picking up a 2017 escalade (reg size) I want to keep the magna-ride as well! I was looking at belltech 1019? Have you done that kit before? And how is ride quality (I do not want to loose that) I have a 2015 tahoe ltz that I did the set kit from ready lift... and it looks amazing, but rides like shit
I have done that I believe on my last one. I made a video on it as well. Ride is a little harsher than stock but not much
is it me or is it the video having frame lag thing
It did have a messed up section
Sway bar link kit. I tried looking for it on eBay and says out of stock. Thanks in advance
They are always in and out of stock
Do you have to put the airbag in the spring
I don't have airbags on this one
Question, why didn't you use the regular belltech 1019 kit that you previously used a cpl years ago. Any issues you ran into? Just ordered the 1020 kit for mine (I don't have mag ride). Btw, great content and you've got a new subscriber. 👌
I had this spring laying around. Thanks for subscribing
Looks good man, thinking about doing this to my 16 Denali. Appreciate the video. What you got going on with that Trans Am?? Any videos in that?
Thank you. Several trans am videos on the channel
Do you think it would rub on 24s?
Maybe a small amount in front
Can you still haul with the dropb
I do
This thing ready to be sold yet?
Sold months ago
Those gmc’s are priced pretty high. Did You get a good deal on it?
I got a decent deal
Question ?
my 2017 tahoe Stock Suspension has Some Clunk Noise when i am Parking my Car Wheel Full Lock and Backing up
Sounds From Front of SUV ???/
What Could it BE ?
Mileage - 50,000 KM
Probably the sway bar end links in front or CV shafts

Does the shock Relocate work with the belltech street drop shocks? I dont have the airride
Yes it does
love the tint not a fan of lowering a truck. to me it takes away the purpose of it.
Lowering makes it easier for my wife to get in. I don't off road it
anyone else got the glitched part at around 19-21 min?
Yes. Not sure what happened
Installed the spindles and drop coils and my driver side from sits 1” lower than the passenger side. Any advice? Makes it drive like crap constantly fighting bump steer and just doesn’t feel very planted
I didn't install drop coils. Its funny how I show exactly what works and has no issues but people use different parts and then ask what could be wrong.
@@TWAMotorsports sorry my bad the drop coils are for the rear. I only did spindles up front. The exact parts in your description. My driver front sits at 32” to the fender and 33 1/4 on the passenger front fender
Did you take the strut in front apart?
@@TWAMotorsports no I didn’t take the strut apart. Thanks for the reply guess just need to take off and reinstall the spindle. I watched your video at least 5 times and did it step by step.
Sure you put both drop spindles on.
Looks good! The drop is nice but like you said adding the spring cups to the front for a little more rake. Tint is crazy, I have my windows tinted but not the front windshield so I called to have it done and it is a lot more expensive like 250 just for the windshield because they said it is a different type of film they use I would guess because it’s more in the direct sunlight. I put that on the back burner for now!😂
Thank you. It doesn't take a different type. I would call around to other tint shops.
Looking good! I did a 4/6 on my 08 gmc and it rides damn good I went with ihc kit, there shocks are ass I’m waiting on some bell tech street performance ones hope it makes a difference
Yeah I have done ihc in the past
It came out nice
Thank you
Yeah, great work.
Wish I was smart enough, and had the tools to do this..

Does your sway bar link on the pass side rub on the air shock bladder after moving it over an inch? Mines is so I put the factory links back in
Its close but doesn't rub
@@TWAMotorsports I think my eibach bar is too thick. I had to massage the corner brace of the panhard support.
That could be the issue
so whats the difference with the control arm relocation in this kit compared to the white one you did?
Which white one?
@@TWAMotorsports you installed a belltech 1019 kit on a white denali in another video, i was wondering if that lower control arm relocation makes a difference
It does make a difference. This one is a better set up but does require more work.
