Your videos are honestly the best way to experience this story. The manga is great of course, but you make it so much more dynamic with your editing and music. And the anime…yeah, we won’t speak of that, except to call it the biggest missed opportunity that I’ve seen in a long time. I’m just glad I found this again. Stumbled on them a year or two ago but had trouble finding it again when I needed a palate cleanser after getting disappointed by the anime. Really, really well done.
Interestingly, this is the only fight in the series where the combatants ended the battle in complete antipathy to each other. Every other combatant either reached mutual respect or admiration for their fallen foe (Buddha even used Volund with Zerofuku against the demon that possessed his body), only Poseidon alone was such a prideful a-hole that no common ground was reached between them, Poseidon even cursing him as he died.

Respected his fathomless strength maybe, but definitely not Poseidon himself.
Lu Bu showed humanity we could stand against the Gods Adam showed us we could bring them to their knees Kojiro made us believe we could slay them! That part where his former students and rivals cheer for him always gets me 🥲 like the gods can’t even comprehend camaraderie and suffering to learn something and be the best!

Yeah, fuck my gripes with Thunderbolt- the emotional beats are still - Victory song changed too?! UA-cam ~ BRUH! - anyways, the high impact emotional beats of this fight are still there. I honestly thought Kojiro wasn't gonna get that same song for when he digs deeper at the end. Great ending song for the fight btw, but I loved how Aldnoah? (spelled that wrong) had that fortissimo to that reflected the energy of humanity getting its first Win. I feel like the only reason why this manga became as popular as it is, was because you made videos about it before they were taken down a few years ago. Any new people that just started following this manga within the last 2 years or so, wouldn't even know.
The ONLY thing that sucked about this fight was the fact that they surrounded them with water when it never came into play. Poseidon was even shown manipulating water when he split that wave apart.
