Dark alloy is truly a hero he not only didn’t want to fight Garou he asked him to stop and instead join the hero’s and even after garou had already essentially beaten him mentally and was being taken away by tatsumaki he tried to save him even though he was scared of him.
Darkshine is not a hero, he is there to compete and not fight. His constitution is weak to be a hero. The narrator literally tells "he was not looking for a fight but for thrill of victory". Meaning he won't struggle , he simply there for show biz and shining his muscles.
A fun fact. 10:30 is the only time when Garou manages to hurt Darkshine. Even when his limiter started breaking, and when he was being slowly consumed by his true monster form, none of the attacks actually were getting through and harming Darkshine. THIS is the only attack that did the job. Which attack was it and why it worked? It was Fa-Jin. The attack that bypasses physical durability and hits internal organs directly. Organs that do not have muscles and can't be trained. This is why Darkshine bleeds from his nose, even though his skin remains intact. How do we know it's Fa-Jin? He later uses it against Saitama i the exact same situation - when he realizes that Saitama's durability is too high for his attacks to work on him. Of course, it doesn't work, but we see the exact same effects of the attack, that's how we know it's the same one. The shockwave that the attack creates hits the surrounding objects and pulverizes it, turning it into dust. Later on Garou would master this attack to such an extent, tha the was able to send the shockwaves throughout the whole planet, shifting tectonic plates on the other side of the Earth. It's crazy to think this is where the attack originates from! Garou indeed used Darkshine to perfect his techniques.
