Hello!!! Thanks for vids. Just went thru the last step, fingerprints. I’ve been waiting about 2 weeks and nothing yet. Checked the postal site and it is still in offer ext phase. Since I haven’t heard anything should I be concerned? This waiting is nerve racking. lol.
Hi!! No need to worry because they should be reaching out to you at any point, given you had an above average score. I know the waiting is annoying but it’s part of the game. Good luck! 🍀
Are you sure that you didn’t miss any emails? First, start by searching your inbox and your spam folders. If nothing is there, then it’s a high chance that you were not selected. However, give it another two weeks.
I took my assessment on 5/12/2024 and I haven't received an email yet. Since I am pass the 16 day mark maybe I wasn't considered. I did made a 100 % on my test for the PSE SALES & SVCS/DISTRIBUTION ASSOCIATE , Clerk, TEXAS. Does this usually happen?

Next time you apply just show up to your local post office let them know that you need to get fingerprints done and you can't reach anyone they may offer fingerprint there or you may just have to go to the nearest next location. But do show up don't call you never will get anyone
I applied for the USPS PSE clerk position on November 7th and scored a 74 on the 477 exam also on November 7th. I was put on the pre-hire list on November 14th. Tomorrow will be the 16th day of waiting to hear back from the USPS about a potential job offer. How long does it usually take to hear back from the USPS after submitting an application?
They generally don’t take that long but they receive a lot more applications during the holiday season. Also, they are hiring one person for that one location. If someone else scored higher, they would get the position and you will continue to stay on the Pre-Hire list. Hopefully, your score is the highest and you’ll hear from them soon. Keep me posted. Good luck!
So i was reading the comments and someone asked about a drug screen and you said there isnt any but when i did my application it said that it was .. is it only for certain jobs that a drug screen is required?
@@khaylataylor2466 Correct, it is for specific jobs. If you’re applying to a positions that you’re required to operate a vehicle, then it would make sense. For a postal clerk, I never experienced that? What position did you apply to?
CCA and mail handler assistant has a two different application. If you decline the offer or you don't complete background check and fingerprint on time, so your application get canceled, Does that disqualify you from applying another positions?
No, it doesn’t disqualify you from present and future positions. It only disqualifies you from the actual position that you decline, missed the fingerprinting, or missed the background for. You have a fresh start with each position. However, once you complete the background check and fingerprinting for a position, the background and fingerprints are kept on file for all/future positions. Good luck!
No resume is required. I would say that your passing score for the assessment becomes your “resume.” Since it’s the gateway for what jobs you’re qualified for.
Usually when you miss an email during the hiring process, you’ve missed the opportunity which that specific job location and position. Try to see if there’s an email to respond to and ask them to resend. If not, apply for another location.
I got the email for the background checks and I went to my spam so I did not see it and it expired. What do i do if the invitation for the background investigation expired. Can I get background check invitation resent ?

I applied 2/27/24 , received an email for consent for background and driving history, I created the account for GIS and have not received any updates since 3/25/24. Should I be concerned?

I’ve never heard of that happening before. From my understanding, any deadline you miss is over and done. They can control the job offer status and they can pull a job back from you if the steps within the link is not completed
