What a beautiful, expressive and on-point reaction. You conveyed what a lot of us feel when we hear this song. Actually, it's good you did the studio version, very few people react to that but it's really perfect. Thank you for featuring Lovebites again.
As someone coming from the symphonic rock/metal genre, this was one of the songs that helped me to love them a lot more, because i first heared "When Destinies Align" and i totally loved the guitars, but the vocals not that much as somebody who is a fan of Floor Jansen, Simone Simons, Sharon Den Adel and those kind of singers.
But then i heared this song and Asami showed a lot more of what she can do, after that people also suggest "Edge of the world" and "Empty Daydream" and since then i was in love with them and now love everything and also really love Asami 😍
But i have also seen a few reactors who had the same problem first with Asami, and then my tip is always to start with their ballads or epics or however we would call it, since if you all in love with here there you mostly also like her suddenly more in the powermetal stuff.

Wonderful reaction!! I know this song can make you cry. I'm sorry you can't play the live version of this which worth to buy the whole album Daughters of the Dawn for this one title. You can hear the great ending and watch Miyako switches to piano again, and more over it's so beautiful and emotional with great soulful guitar solos Miyako Weeps and Midori cries.

You have to see the video, talk about goosebumps. You no idea!!! Miyako's solo and keyboard😍 and Asami's singing so beautiful and soft.
I'm sure you watched the live video for this song, even though you didn't want to make a reaction video for it, because it might get blocked. The live version is so amazing. This song is certainly a wolfpack favorite, but it did not make it on the "Best Of..." box set. Which kinda surprised me. Since it was only 20 songs, we realize they couldn't include all our favorites.
Yes, only 4 songs from Clockwork. 5 from Electric Pentagram, 6 from Awakening. Surprisingly 3 from Battle Against, 2 from Glory and 1 Golden. One new song. It's either reduce Awakening or add Epilogue. The fans love Awakening so much

Even though you now know the song, if you managed to watch the live version you will still be blown away. It's even more sentimental, plus you'll get the outro, as opposed to the studio version's fade out, and it is epic.

their slowest one. a perfect ballad. their music works without seeing them. so audio version is good. you can concentrate on the music and hear the little intricacies better. as always such a good reaction video. thank you. and I recommend "frozen serenade" as audio version. so good. with spanish guitars and an impressive guitar maelstrom at the end.

Haruna doesn't use the ride bell she has an inverted 9.5" bell mounted to her ride. That is why she rings out so clear. Now where you found that check our Addicted. IMO when Haruna comes in one measure is a warm up and then she turns into a wall of sound by herself. It is my favorite drum entrance period. The live versions she is a bit buried as Asami screams at the same time as Haruna goes all out. Lessens the impact of the studio version IMO

I haven't listened to the studio version of 'Epiogue' for a long time, the live version is so, so much better.
OK so in half a dozen vids or so, you have become one of my favourite reactors. This song is amazing and shows another side of this incredible band. I sometimes prefer the studio version because I can't hear some of the more subtle background things going on.

These slower paced songs are always good at showcasing how much skill the entire band has. When Haruna doesn't have to worry about going 350 BPM she has time to actually do more intricate fills even though she does fit some great fills in at their normal pace as well.

Damn I wished she did the live version. I definitely think the live version is better, more emotional but of course the album version is still great. The zepp diver live version of "edge of the world" is also much better than the album version.
I agree, but the live version has not officially been released. So that could be a problem for reaction videos. That said, I agree. The live version is absolutely beautiful. Miyako flawlessly switching like 5 times between guitar and keyboard adds something to this already emotional song. It is a shame it somehow didnt make it into the best of album.

i started to love asami after watching this song and frozen serenade. asami is a woman of lyrics. as to midori, 6:58～is the most emotional solof of hers.
I personally thank you for doing the studio version, I know everyone is complaining about the Live version but I also love all of the studio versions of every song. It is what I listen to in my car my phone and my laptop. I believe with everyone else it is a visual thing and not necessarily a hearing thing. I love to absorb the beautiful sounds of every song as I listen so closely in my car at almost a concert-level volume and it sounds so awesome. I am with you if you wish to continue doing all of the rest of the songs in the studio version, great reaction and awesome job

In the quieter part of the live version, in one of the choruses, Miyako plays a bluesy little piano fill, just a few notes, that is the single most beautiful and touching thing that I have heard her play on the piano.
Also, I love the way how Midori comes in with her solo. Proves that Midori can play the blues too.

The live version is slowed down more and is so beautiful 100% better than the studio version they are quite different
with them you can't go wrong. or rather, as they are on (still, i believe) indefinite hiatus you can apply the 'noo, non finire' to the entire band

You should have reacted to the live one but while we just look at a picture. The live has a bit extra solo you missed from the studio version.
Hai fatto male a non fare la reaction alla versione live, tanto per noi poco importa vederla. Personalmente la conosco a memoria, ti posso perfino dire com'erano vestite nel concerto di Tokio. Cambia tantissimo perché manca la parte orchestrale e gli assoli sono diversi. Guardala e capirai. Le Lovebites sono uno dei pochi gruppi che devono essere "visti" in concerto o video. Alla fine c'è l'assolo di Midori stile Prince che è una perla.
Avessi usato il live molto probabilmente non avrei proprio potuto caricarla, quindi non avrebbe avuto senso... Mi sono fatta qualche remora in più perché mi ha bloccato il live di "Don't bite the dust"...

It is no problem at all to show your feelings. It is only a problem, if you have no feelings anymore.
The live version is equally recommendable. There they do not fade out the music, but they set sort of a "musical finish", played *masterly* by Madori. I can only highly recommend it. And that includes the duty to use handkerchives (again)! 🥲
