Just passed my part 107 with a 90% today! As an FYI, I watched this video, Tony & Chelsea Northrup's "FREE Drone Certification Study Guide: FAA Part 107 sUAS Test" and took a practice exam I found online. By far the easiest exam I've ever taken. Total studying including practice exam, watching the videos in 2 times speed ~ roughly 4 hrs the night before the exam. The only thing I would have done differently would be to look up recent changes with remote ID as that wasn't really covered in either 2 videos. Don't stress on this exam, like 75% of the questions were extremely straightforward. I spent a total of 35 minutes on the exam, trust your gut and watch how they give you the answer (it's often very easy to eliminate the wrong choice and there were times when just by the answer you already know the correct one). The sectional chart was probably the hardest part of the exam but luckily they do give you the book/legends so use that to your advantage and you can always come back to them if they're taking too much time :D. Best of luck everyone!
Thank you for your comment!!! I'm gonna have the exam in 2 weeks and I will do my best to pass. Question for you, can you use the book during the exam? I already downloaded the pdf and it seems pretty big with many pages.

This was the first and last video I watched before taking my test. I had this video playing out loud in the office while waiting to walk in the test room.I passed with an 87% with no prior knowledge and less than a week of studying. Thank you so much for the video and information. The way you broke it up in searchable segments is perfect! I watched this video and some other creator's videos on 1.5x speed over and over; while taking some notes. 🤣
Taking the test today after a month straight of studying. Saving up for a decent drone...praying this all works out 🤷♂️🙏 in a bad place right now and ive put everything into this with everyone telling me its a fad or I cant make a career out of this (including my wife and family) only have my God supporting me. Feels like the worlds against me...but this is what I WANT TO DO. Edit: I PASSED 😁
Watched this twice and the Tony Northrup video, along with some skimming of a few other resources. I don't think I've passed a test in 10 years, but this majorly helped me pass the Part 107. Thank you so much!
Took my test on Friday NOV 10 2023 with a 72% obviously not amazing but I passed. I only did 4 and a half hours of intense studying (headphones in, 0 distractions) the day of. I watched all of this video in 1.5/1.75 speed and used the blurting/repeating method and also wrote notes down. (Blurting/Repeating = I would watch a lesson and then after it ended I would pause and say out loud everything that was covered in the lesson a couple of times in my own words) The only other video that I watched was also a video from this channel about the most commonly missed questions of the exam. The biggest thing that this video does not cover is how to read the maps and the components of the maps in the book they give you with the exam. (big part of the exam, don't underestimate) Thank you so much Altitude!
I just passed my exam with 87%. I want to thank you Brandon and your team, this is one of the best training courses I’ve been enrolled in so far. It was very well organized, I’ve followed the entire course for about 2 hours a day for the last 2 weeks. I also followed the FAA resources, but most of the information needed to past the exam was in this amazing course. And on top of that it was FREE! Unbelievable, after this, I would love to give millions likes to support you guys. People looking into pass this exam absolutely need to follow this course. If you want to become a remote pilot you’ll need to learn how to comply with the law and some other very important things to fly safely, it’s not about to try to find the answers and memorize them. At the end is for our safety and your pocket! Again, Thank you very much ALTITUDE TEAM!

@@mxtafsa It was worth it because I did not have to pay for an online class. Those are expensive and most of the information is on UA-cam. I would advise a little more study time. Maybe an hour or two a day till your test. Weather, Sectional Charts, Crew resource management and Night time operations are the most important. Try and figure out a wrong answer first and make your ods a 50/50. Most of the time if it's not obvious, one of them is a really dumb answer.

Great video without the snarky comments about why the FAA wants us to know certain details. You're a pilot flying around with other pilots- it matters and should be taken seriously.
I agree that flying should be taken seriously in order to keep others safe, but to be fair, I think that the same course should be required for recreation flight as well. Otherwise, it does beg the question, why is some of this information only relevant for commercial work when the difference between most recreational and commercial flights is that the commercial flight involves a payment?

Watched this twice and the Tony Northrup video, along with some skimming of a few other resources. I don't think I've passed a test in 10 years, but this majorly helped me pass the Part 107. Thank you so much!

Congrats on passing! Thanks for taking a look at our content!
Thank you for the information. Just passed my FAA 107 with 97%. Surprised myself and super happy.
Congrats on passing the exam! We wish you the best in your journey as a commercial drone pilot!

WOW, Martin! Congratulations on the 87% passing score!! That is fantastic to hear. This comment means so much, really appreciate your feedback and I'm so glad we were able to help you get such a high score! Im taking my test tomorrow. Your comment gave me some motivation. I've been about the same schedule for the last week and a half.
@@Ataraxia_Atom Good luck! Don’t get stressed out is not that difficult just make sure to pace yourself, you have enough time to answer all the questions
Just a correction for ya, at 1:03 you compare cold air with warm air but you've got it flipped. Cool air is actually denser and results in better flying conditions than hot air.
temp increase -> density altitude increase
Thanks Drew!
Cool air but cold air is harder even on heated batteries.
Yeah I just noticed that too I literally just went over this with my boss a couple weeks ago We do aerial surveying
@@lanceharlin1776 if they're Li-Po batteries, you'll do better in the cold
Actually temp increase - > (leads to) density altitude DECREASE. Since hotter air (temp increase) leads to LESS DENSE air. 🌝 but hey
Watched this on repeat for about a week. Took the test…and bombed it. Shouldn’t have expected much from a free UA-cam video. Literally 1/4 of the test is covered in this. Look elsewhere is my advice
Hi Thomas, thank you for reaching out. Apologies for the inconvenience, but I believe you missed a crucial step in the process. This is not the full course, as the full version is too large to upload to UA-cam. The full course can be found for free, linked in the description as I mentioned in the introduction of this video. was it easy, how long did you study?
@@mxtafsa About 2 or 3 hours a day for About two weeks. Better B roll and Tony Northrup help too.
@@darielrivera134 was it worth all the studying I’ve studied about two hours and my test is in 3 days

I just barely passed with a %70 but I still passed. Thank you for the video as this was my primary study source. Only advice I’d give it to really get down the sectional charts, I barely passed primarily because a large amount of the test was those charts which I had not focused on as much as I should have.

Great video without the snarky comments about why the FAA wants us to know certain details. You're a pilot flying around with other pilots- it matters and should be taken seriously.
Exactly!! Thanks so much for the positive feedback. It’s greatly appreciated
