Meanwhile, Matrix and the girl have a head-on collision with a hydro pole... and no seatbelts. Umm, they're both DEAD ON IMPACT. Lots of things involve "suspension of disbelief".... but that collision crosses it by a mile.

+Gary Hov I watched the scene in detail. The driver's side gets pretty knocked up, but the rest of the car looks in pretty solid shape. When Arnie flips it back over, he climbs in and it shows the damage on the driver's side. When he backs up, spins around and drives off, I do see that the side looks refinished, indeed for that one second before it goes into the night. But a movie of this kind of logic conveys Arnie has the touch of God for anything he touches.
Try the helicopter scene in the A-Team. The "Bad guys" chopper smashes into a cliff face. No survivors, right? Wrong, the bad guys are seen pulling one of their other mates to safety from the mangled wreckage.
