    Hey Charles!! Thank you very much for your review! There are 3 of my photos in this review. #1: The gay couple taking from back, it was at the Pride parade, their were a lot of people here and there and I wanted to capture a few images for commercial purposes. I haven't bought any yet because I uploaded too late, but I have more material for the next year. #2: The bike female was good on agencies and finally #3: the 2 little girls on the balcony was sold, but I 100% agree with your review about the focus on the front girl. Anyways, keep doing this stuff, all the phs will appreciate your work!!! Salud!

    I've seen a lot of your videos now, and I'm really interested in stock photography. I set up an Adobe account and had a few images accepted already, but recently I wanted to add photos with people in it, recognizable people and I know they have to be editorial but I can't mark that because that option isn't active for some reason. If I say there's recognizable people in it, I have to add a release form. Of course not possible with a photo taken in the middle of Trafalgar Square in London. Any ideas or suggestions? Thank you Charles in advance and great content in all your videos, enjoying every one of them ❤

      Hi! Thank you so much!
      Adobe does not accept editorials with people in them, only illustrative editorials at the moment. agencies like shutterstock or Getty will. Best of luck!

      @@wollertz okay, thanks for your very quick reply, I'll have a look into that illustrative editorial then, I'm sure you mentioned it in one of your videos, thank you again!!

    What do you mean by editorial? The various stock sites require model releases. Because I have photos with faces that I don't know what to do with.

    I always learn editing tips from these reviews. When you suggested brightening parts of a photo, I revisited my uploaded pictures on Shutterstock. One photo featuring a beach scene with a sea urchin being washed over by an incoming tide has sold four times, but it could do even better. Upon re-evaluating the image, I noticed that the white foam in the water appeared too gray, and the shadow was too dark and blue. I made adjustments by lightening the shadow and increasing the contrast to make the foam in the water appear whiter and make the reddish-brown sea urchin pop. I'll let you know if it increases its sales. But that brings me to a question: How (or when) do you decide to delete a photo, re-edit it, and upload it again to the stock agency? Or do you? As one who has not been in stock photography very long (this is my second year), I know some of my images could be improved, especially since I purchased a better monitor. But I don't want to go overboard. There are more issues with overediting than not. Thanks for all you do.

      Thanks so much!
      I rarely re-edit a photo, mostly because I have tens of thousands waiting to be processed, so I learn from what I’ve done and apply it to new photos. Nothing wrong with looking back if you have the time I just find myself with less and less time these days 😅

      @@wollertz This is the reply I was expecting, and it makes sense. I would rather be out shooting than re-editing!

    hello dear, I use Samsung s 23 ultra phone, but 98% accept,not sell.not sell , because of cell phone picture?.and which camera should I buy,

    • @wollertz
      @wollertz  Місяць тому +2

      Anything accepted has potential to sell, and it can take up to 1 year for sales to start. be patient and post more, when you can update to a camera with changeable lenses. and remember you need many pictures 10000 to start is a good goal
