It would have better to add narration to the video. Sometimes it was not so clear exactly what was being done, for example regarding the force shields.
Just played it for the first time about an hour ago. Loved the Deflect mechanic at 0.18. I'm more of a sword guy than guns anyway so that should help me out a lot.
Here’s a summary for those who just want to read rather than watch: Super Powered Beam: Set both guns to Laser mode, then hold them close together and pull both triggers at once. Mass chaos will ensue!!! Deflecting Lasers: Swap your gun(s) for the shield(s), then switch those to Lightsaber mode and hold them in the path of incoming laser fire to bounce the bullets back at the droids. Force Field: The shields themselves have a secret feature, too: if you pull the trigger while holding one, it will fire a force field outwards that scatters all incoming projectiles for about three seconds. Smashing Robots: If you pull the trigger while holding the Lightsaber, it will shoot an energy beam that latches onto the nearest object (it can target more than just droids; more on that below…), and if it’s a droid, you can smash it into the ground to damage or destroy it. Slicing Robots: As you would expect from a Lightsaber, you can also slice the robots, too! This works best if you have a Lightsaber in both hands, as you can use the energy beam of one to grab a robot, and then use the other to slice it to pieces! It’s very fun, and a great way to get your anger out! Turrets: There are three hidden turrets that you can activate at any time if things get difficult. You’ll need at least one Lightsaber in your hand to use these, however. Here’s a rundown of where each one is and what it does: Shotgun-This turret fires a volley of laser bullets at the droids, and as with the other two, it only shoots if you give it power using the Lightsaber. You can also use the Lightsaber to control the aim of the turret, which also applies to the other two. This turret is located behind you on the left, in front of the blue holographic banner. Superlaser-This turret shoots a high-powered laser at any droids which get too close to the station, and it can be aimed and fired using the Lightsaber. It is located above you on the right, and is attached to the ceiling of the shuttle bay in which you are standing. Tesla Coil-This turret shoots lightning bolts at any nearby droids when powered. This is therefore the only turret which cannot be aimed, and the only one with a range limitation. However, this makes it much easier to use, as all you have to do is get the droids near it, and it’ll do the rest for you when it’s powered. It is the big tower-like structure directly to your left, if you need it. Hot-Swappable Guns-While holding a gun(s), press B to swap them between two different modes. Not sure if the modes stay the same or not, but it’s a nice feature to have in certain situations. Weapon Skins-If you dig through the settings, you’ll find a menu called “Unlockables,” which gives you access to three other weapon skins (besides the default one), and a second environment as well. I’m assuming there’s something you have to do to unlock these, but I’m not sure what it is, so play around, and you might unlock a few of them. Holo-Sight-In case you haven’t noticed already, your guns do in fact have targeting scopes, which are the red squares mounted to the top of each one, and if you look through them, they will turn green when a droid is in position.
THANK YOUUUUU this was by far the most useful info, I saved it so I can refer back to it. This is day two for me using the game and I had discovered already quite a few things on my own including how powerful the lightsabers are, I can play the SOLO mode game with just them, I have tried up to 13 sworms so far. :) but I didn't know about the Superlazer , didn't notice it above my head. If you're using the valve index' knuckles, moving the control stick brings up a radial menu, and then you can select by letting go. I think on the vive wands you use the trackpad.
To switch between the weapon and shield, simply reach your hand back over your shoulder (as if you were grabbing something from a backpack), and when you pull it forward again, you will be holding the other device. This works for both hands, so if you’re holding two guns, you can just reach both hands back, and you’ll then be holding two shields.

To switch between the weapon and shield, simply reach your hand back over your shoulder (as if you were grabbing something from a backpack), and when you pull it forward again, you will be holding the other device. Only for PC VR, not for the quest
@@PocketRocket360 What if you are using a Rift or better said a Quest 2 but you have it plugged in as a Rift and are playing PC VR on steam with it.
