I had an 1800C and recently also bought the 1800N. My girlfriend has a 1300R she now wants after riding my Neo a Neo of her own. Also I have to mention we are all VTX lovers / owners in the family. Her father has an 1800R her sister has a 1300R her brother-in-law has a 1300C and her nephew bought my 1800C. All great bikes! Go Honda 😆
I don't disagree. Great bikes for the price. Decent power, very comfortable, and great on the hwy. Plus they are easy to fix if anything goes wrong, cheap to fix, and lot of aftermarket parts.
I bought an 03 VTX 1300 off my dad a few years ago. It has Vance and Hines pipes on it and he has adjusted the throttle cable to be a little bit heavy. Sounds absolutely amazing. I also put a set of 18" apes on it because I'm obnoxious. I've only ridden a few other cruisers but nothing has come close to that Honda.
mines got the wind shield .leather bags hypercharger. 200 rear tire cobra drags and back rest for the wife lol. even stripped the vtx is a big cruzer and lots of fun to ride. I will be honest I do not care much for Honda but I do love the vtx
I love Harley I just never wanted to afford one . I see a lot of thefts and damage done to them by jealous folk. my Honda is super nice but its not a high retail machine. and a little road damage never hurts an old Honda.. mine has a few scratches and a bit high mileage but that's ok it rides like it brand new
I have a few questions: I'm 6'2" 250 and my wife is 5'6" 140. Would it pull us both okay? With it only having 5 gears how bad is it wound up at 70mph on the highway? Is it liquid or air cooled?
I would go with a Kawasaki 1500,it will do the job and you never have to adjust the valves like you have to on the Honda! Just my opinion! I have one and it is amazing, best sounding metric bike to me with cobra drag pipes and DK customs thunder torque inserts!
Bullet proof bike I would you’ll like it and it will have enough of power for you and the mrs. reliable and low on maintenance its a Honda so what else can I truly say
I'm 6'2" 285lbs - I fit no problem. My son is 6'5" 330lbs, he is big on anything but a victory vision, but he says the vtx1300 is one of the most comfortable bikes hes been on. I also have a son in law who is 6'10" 300lbs...to him they are all mini bikes.
@@PoChristiansMC big boys brother. I'm 5 11 260 and find this info great. Thinking of going back to cruisers after trading in my Sv650. Just going to miss the fuel injection
Yeah it can be scary beginning to ride. Those roads I was on are really soft, so over time it creates two dips in the road where cars drive, so the best place to ride is on the left or right side of the lane

What size is your gf to ride the 1300?
1300 C is the best and better set up
Your lucky and smart family ❤
Recently bought a 2007 VTX 1300 C and I love it ! It’s a big bike and it runs great I am 6’2” 235lbs and it is very comfortable for me to ride !
I have the same bike. My only complaint is how wide the tank is right in front of the seat. My thighs touch and it get uncomfortable after a while
How much was the bike and what was the total mileage it had?
This one was about $3000 and had around 6k miles on it.
I'm really looking forward to buying my very own VTX 1300, really seems like the perfect bike for any and all my needs. Thanks for the video o/
That's awesome. You will love it, they do everything great, easy and cheap to work on, and do it all without costing half as much as a harley
ThatCampingOwl I have one for sale. 2006 vtx1300R w only 11k miles. Good working condition blue color title in hand location Las Vegas NV
I have an 05 VTX 1300C, the best in my book. Not overdone or spoke rims. Best bike I’ve ever owned. I have 66,000 on mine. All Hwy miles
I don't disagree. Great bikes for the price. Decent power, very comfortable, and great on the hwy. Plus they are easy to fix if anything goes wrong, cheap to fix, and lot of aftermarket parts.

I ended up ride that bike for about a year and has been a fantastic bike, comfortable, reliable, and good power.
Nice, basic ride with motor sounds. Thanks!!! I"m buying one later this week.
Thanks, they are good bikes, simple and reliable
jmaedl027 jmaedl mind if I ask ruffly
how much
Just picked up one with 13k mile. Whats the average value nowadays? Wondering if I got a good deal or not.
@@DakotaLJohnson depending on condition, you get get them anywhere from $2000 to like $5000
I have had my vtx since new . 67.000 later I still ride the wheels off of her . lol
I've taken all the saddle bags off and windshield, love it that much more trimmed down. Been enjoying to really nice ride for over a year now.

@@steveb6037 even stripped down like I have mine, rides and sounds great. Reliable and a 1/5 of the price of a Harley for a great bike

Hey Steve, how often do you adjust the valves in your vtx?
I knew that highway looked familiar. When I saw Lumberjack Harley I knew right where you were!
Rode my dads the other day with him. He bought him a Harley and he’s kinda teaching me the ropes with the vtx
There is no 6th gear.
Are those handlebars factory stock ? I like them.
I think they were stock. Were the most comfortable bars that I have used
Good ol’ Nacogdoches! Axe ‘em Jacks!
What kind of pipes on the bike they sound really good and good lookin bike
They are Vance & Hines. I really like the sound too, took all the saddle bags and windshield off and makes the bike look so much better.

Bike rides great with that kind of weight overall. Bike will easily do 90+. And its water cooled.

Is that stock exhaust? If not, which is it?
Its an aftermarket slip-on from Vance and Hines.
Love the sound. Is it stock exhaust?
Nope, it's a Vance & Hines slip on. Nice tone, not loud while constant throttle
6th gear roll on?
Nope only 5 gears
My heigh is 6'4'', do you think that i will fit good un this bike?
You should. The bikes do sit pretty high. I'm just at 6ft and cant really flatfoot so you should be good

Honestly the VTX Honda and the Yamaha Warriors are by far the most comfortable

constantly hugging the right side of the road isn't a good idea on a motorcycle.
That's was just a test ride and first time on that bike. But I always ride in the path that cars drive over so that it's more clear of debris.
@@lordofbiscuits1911 honestly I'm a new rider and it just made me nervous to watch it lol!!!

Must be a newbie rider, don't use turn signals.
