Good effort Dan! I was in the RAF in HK in the 90’s and qualified as an intermediate Cantonese speaker - (I even learned the lyrics for Hung Yat by Hacken Lee - a great party piece,😉) It can be hard work, but stick with it, it’s so rewarding, and I can still speak Cantonese to this day 😎
