Hey all! Thanks for watching the video. It has been brought to my attention that there is an issue with the volume in this video. It is low. Please crank me up haha. I will fix this for future videos. Sorry!
Not to mention the owner of mindwork is such an incredible painter and person in general. Super friendly, had a great conversation for about 45 minutes just talking theory and inspiration. One of my more memorable moments with them. This turned out really great Zambies I love the flesh!
About halfway through the video when I remember why I love your content so much. Your painting style & technique are amazing, Jade is a good doggo, and your voice melts me like a hot knife through butter. I hope you have a great rest of the day and upcoming weekend!
Love the work on th skin. Blue to warm skin tone, I would never have thought of it, but it makes perfect sense, blue to green to yellow. Nice work, I'll have to give it a go with my undead waiting in the wings.
Diablo 4 is exactly why I took a month off of hobby time. The game is also inspiring me to paint some demons and to build some amazing terrain! I just don't know when I will get back at it because the game is so good.
I strongly suggest trying Createx's Bloodline paints. They were designed by a special fx artist to simulate dying and necrotic flesh. Createx paints can't really be brushed on because they are exclusively designed for AB but you get colors that are designed to create the perfect zombie for real world applications such as movies and television.
I was telling myself the same after getting into the hobby. I could be painting instead and have something to show for it! But I like to play with friends and that is a good time spent unwinding. A healthy balance.
Love this! It's a really interesting process, and the result is just fantastic! Also, i've been looking for a replacement to p3 coal black as it's hard to get privateer press stuff around here, and that exile blue seems fairly close! Yay!
Thank you! 😊 I actually just got my hands on coal black. Been looking for it for a bit. The exile blue is a favorite of mine but it’s a little bluer than the coal black. Coal black has some green in it. I would say it’s closer to a deep sea blue. Maybe mixing a little green with it would work. I might try this out. Hope that helps :)
For this project I am mainly using the size 6 from Monument's @SamLenzArtwork Weapon Rack and a larger size golden taklon synthetic with a fine tip from the craft store.
:( sorry to hear that. Have you ever had the chance to take a class or do a one on one? I find that hands on experience helps me more than online guides.
I'm still learning to get better at audio. I'm a soft speaker so I usually crank up my volume. It sounded fine when I uploaded it but I guess it was much lower than I thought. Making note of this for the future.
I agree that you must rest from productivity every once in a while even God himself agrees! Exodus 34:21 “Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest. In plowing time and in harvest you shall rest.” It is good to rest physically and if you need some internal rest like mental rest, Jesus is there to comfort. :) Matthew 11:28-30 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”. I love your skills and hobby! May the Lord bless you and your works :)

They don't call you Queen of the Undead for nothing. Absolutely gorgeous work as always, Zams!!
Thanks Witty!

I agree! I loved their booth at Adepticon and they seem like really passionate people.
I'm going to try this out on my vampires from Cursed City! Great job!
Sweet! Can’t wait to see them
Man, the undertone to the aqua blue/tan shift as you start to get to the final tone was so cool. Great stuff Zambs!
Thanks man 💜

Mother would be proud. Your color work remains incredible! I love that you provided a longer vid on your Patreon, as well!
💚💜 thanks James!
That looks awesome. The transition between colors on the hands adds a lot of depth!
Thanks! I’m going to definitely going to be doing this more.
@@Zambies awesome! I'd love to see your take on different types of skin, leather, and fabric especially.

It is! The storyline is beautifully done. It's okay to take a hobby break to recharge.
I just started subscribing to you. I am glad the algorithm found me! You are very talented.
@@fisherguy45 💜 thank you!!

I’ve never looked into createx for minis but I’m definitely interested! I love fx art. Thanks for the tip.
Love your work

do whatever you want! i always feel like vidya games are a time waster. but I love Diablo 4.

That skin looks really gruesome, I'm very impressed! also, Dog 👀
Thanks :). She says hi hehe
I just purchased this bust and this video has got me so excited to paint it, qnd it won't even be in my hands for probably 2 weeks....
Yay! Haha, worth the wait :)
@@Zambies I'm looking forward to the next video on the bust now :)
I love it 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Hey Zambies, did you ever play CoD Zombies back in the day?
I didn’t!
Your videos are fantastic and I watch everyone right when it comes out but could you possibly turn your mic up slightly, just a little hard to hear.
I appreciate that! Doh, I think I forgot to bump the audio on this one. Darn being soft spoken. Haha. I will fix this. Thank you 😊
I have been trying to paint skin like this for 3 years now and it never comes out how I want it to

@@Zambies Can't drive because of a spinal injury and no classes near me so I will keep trying
Those fingers look nasty AF. Well done
Haha thank you!
😮😍❤❤️🔥

Anyone else got the sound feeling real low on this video?
It sounded fine for me when I uploaded it but it is low. :( UA-cam took away the audio fix so I'll have to reupload it.
Why is the volume so low ?
I'm still learning to get better at audio. I'm a soft speaker so I usually crank up my volume. It sounded fine when I uploaded it but I guess it was much lower than I thought. Making note of this for the future.
Yes, play the games and take the time off's. You can get burnt out way too easy.
I agree! It’s better to prevent it or notice it right away then be stuck in a deep burnout.
