That looked more like a work out session than a race🤣 I'm just going to pootal about with the grommets. Great on board footage, I thought you had it on lap 7, bloody good effort👍
@@TommyFielding Totally agree about practice , i'd be out there all day every day if I could 👍Had a really nice country road TT style ride with my best mate also ridding a Blade today, I got mud on my tyres and a bush in my helmet 🤣🤣Keep on Keeping on. Much love to you and your wonderful supporting family❤️
great riding.. great footage.. good speeds.. always love these clean videos where i can see what faster riders are doing and then improve my own doni laptimes (1:48 on a Hyper 950)
Thanks very much! Mainly practice I guess, as the weekend went on I did start to run it but not as much as others. Trying things for the first time during a race can be tricky. When my other videos are released you should be able to see :) please consider subscribing, I am nearly at the all important 1000!
You can learn so much watching a rider like yourself 💪🏼💪🏼 I can only dream of lap times in the 30’s. What gear do you use for Melbourne hairpin btw? Cheers for the content.
Thanks very much for the flattering comment! I use 2nd gear. I did used to use a different final drive and use 1st in the hairpin but it wasn’t very kind on the gearbox 😟
@@TommyFielding so if you win or do very well in the Pirelli championship do you automatically go up to the BSB super sport? I watched them at the weekend at Brands Hatch. They’re ridiculously fast and such a great sound. I have subscribed. Good vids, keep it up.
@@anglerfish1001 unfortunately not. I have done some supersport wildcards, most recently at donington the round before brand hatch. If you have a look through my videos it was the upload before this one. It’s a great championship but the competitive bikes are upwards of £25k and £80k for a seasons running costs. Thanks for the sub 👍
@@TommyFielding Ouch, that’s expensive. But I suppose it makes sense as being the pinnacle of the super sport class they are going have all the best parts etc. You need a mahoosive sponsor.
@@anglerfish1001 yeah exactly. I do have some sponsors but could always do with more! Ultimately you get to a point where spending more money will yield better results.
Thankyou! I know, it was my line going in would cause the back wheel to lock a little too much. Thankfully the others showed me a better line in Race 2 which I could implment to improve into there :)
@@TommyFieldingthanks for replying. Could I ask what you changed? You brake at the third orange square, and tip in at the end of the paint the same as I do, did you find a better way?
@@shaneenticott6490 Tom fisher runs around the outside of me in Race 2 on a very wide line, it made my change my line and it made a huge difference. You will be able to see when I upload race 2 :)
Currently on the treadmill watching this getting ready for next season 😎 thanks for the motivation
No worries man! Got plenty more of these to upload, enjoy your workout 💪🏼💪🏼

Brilliant video mate, any reason you don’t run the curb out of foggys ?
Thanks very much!

That was an exciting watch. Is this series like one level down from the super sport series that supports BSB?
Hey, thanks for the comment! Yeah I would say it is, pretty competitive towards the front
