he won in the competition.
Good
30:24 I flinched. He is simply incredible.
wow
The youngest ever winner of the Queen Elizabeth competition
vadim repin
One of the very best performances that I have ever heard!
My favorite interpretation of this piece especially the cadenza
I WISH SO MUCH that you would have included MORE of the AUDIENCE applause! ♥♥♥♥♥♥
His violin performance is off the charts
This splendor of words cannot attach it
0:00 I Nocturne
12:45 II Scherzo
19:30 III Passacaglia
28:35 Cadenza
33:50 IV Burlesque
Intensity to the power 💯.
So beautiful. A sublime interpretation. The cadenza is incredibly well played!
Genius performance!
Incredible performance. Best ever
Sublime!
WOW! incredible performance
Bravo !! 🎻🎶🌹🌿
Bravo!
Bravo
Beautiful vibrato at the beginning of the Passacaglia.
Muy bueno bravo que control y además mucho sentimiento 👍
La Cultura viene da Oriente..e dall Europa ❤❤
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏Bravo

My man is on 2 fine tuners. Wow.
There’s nothing inherently wrong with fine tuners. It’s mostly a convenience/appearance thing. But in his case I’m guessing he is playing on a fine violin that is most likely old and some of those require two fine tuners due to aging and what works best for the violin.
@@davidrussell3112 ohh I see
Ppl are so hyperbolic with their descriptions of violinists playing. But this is good
His name is also much like a famous composer
Yes, just replace Sergey with Aram and you get a brilliant Armenian composer.
@@MorganWasHere3 not quite, Khachatryan and Khachaturian are different
@@ianhuangncubed oh, my bad. I thought it was just a different way of spelling it, like Grey and gray,

Some parts were not clean enough. But the interpretation by this talented violinist has blown my mind. It was an imperfect but spectacular and unique performance.
It was in a competition where the tension is much higher than a normal concert.
Maybe you can play it cleaner next time
Precisely because it's not clean is superb
@@valerieisabelsteenken1563 you don’t need to know how to cook to judge how is the food. By the way, I genuinely love this unique and amazing performance. It’s probably one of my fav Shostakovich violin 1 ever!
Just goes to show how far zeal will take an appropriate piece. Enjoyable.
Udovychenko not even close to this...
Quello è stato un verdetto, in parte , politico
dayum! timothee chalamet can really play
Musically disjunct and, at times just technically out of control. What's the point? And those constipated facial expressions...
I'd love to see your rendition of this concerto. I'm sure it's much better than this.
So bad he only went and won the Queen Elizabeth with it.
" La critique est aisée, mais l'art est difficile.." citation de Philippe Néricault, de son nom de scène Destouches, tirée de sa comédie
" Le glorieux " 🎻🎶🌺🌿
@@mtveii tf no it's not 💀
@@Anish-tn4wk Bro how can you ignore MTVEII's opinion? Sure Khachatryan won the queen elisabeth competition, but mtveii's opinion holds more weight. Google him! He is well known and respected for his musical knowledge.
