- Concertmaster Roland Greutter and Principal Cellist Andreas Grünkorn from the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra perform Maurice Ravel's homage to Claude Debussy. "À la mémoire de Claude Debussy" is considered by many to be the most important chamber music work for violin and cello. Initially it was met with little approval from the public due to its sophisticated and innovative compositional style, but over time it advanced to a milestone in string duo literature.

Wunderschöne und lebhafte Aufführung dieser technisch anspruchsvollen und perfekt komponierten Sonate in verschiedenen Tempi mit seidigem doch etwas neue-sachlichem Ton der genialen Violine und tiefem doch gut phrasiertem Ton des ebenso genialen Violoncellos. Der dritte Satz klingt besonders schön und auch philosophisch. Der intime und perfekt entsprechende Dialog zwischen den beiden Virtuosen ist wahrlich ergreifend. Wunderbar und atemberaubend zugleich!
