Sonata for violin and cello by Maurice Ravel performed by Charlotte Juillard (violin) and Adrien Bellom (cello)
Thanks! Great version and recording
My favourite recording to date, even compared to "the great ones" out there. Special sensibility to sound, like it a lot.
I agree. So precise, but also amazingly musical.
Really beautiful connection
From memory!!
So well played
Magnifique 🌈
Faabulous performance of a fabulous piece! (But where's the slow movement?)
Love charlotte julliard!
Where is the slow movement???????
That 1st movement I wondered if these two had ever played together. The acoustics of that space made a disaster! Much better relocated. But, yeah, why skip the slow movement, the highlight of the piece?
I loved the acoustics of the room in the first movement. I love that full resonance. The space they played the last movement in sounded dead to me.
Agreed. Not playing the slow movement, seeming to be frequently out of step and a disastrous acoustic make this into a wreck.
Breathing sound is distracting
