I liked Minnal Murali even more than any Marvel movie. Any Superhero movie is as much interesting as its Villian, and Minnal Murali nailed it. Hollywood movies should learn how to make a compelling Villian backstory from this movie.
The origin story of the Superhero is also unique and very much grounded to a village in Kerala.
I just wish the new part remain in the backdrop of the same village. The writer and dirrctor have made a small universe there and that is the beauty of this movie. Hope they do not become pan India, and Murali fighting Rogue Countries and their Nuclear weapons.
Kudos to Malyalam Cinema!!
Hoping Bollywood will learn something from the movies.

A Superhero in a village in Kerala is something we couldn’t think of but the this one is mind blowing. Though the first half was little slow the 2nd half is a feast. ❤️
This is one of the best thing that has happened !! 10/10 .. from the CGI to VFX to storyline, to the emotions and the feelings, everything was balanced and absolutely awesome !! I wish We get more sequels !!

This movie is a 9/10, easy. I can't understand why the film industry tends to overlook the classic average joe superhero story to cash in stupid crossovers.

Thanks.. This is a Mollywood movie.. Mollywood is a small industry from Kerala.. budget is only 2M.. These 2M is kind of high for us.. Offcourse 2nd part is coming with high budget
@@sangeeth1083 I live in a country where the villages like the one seen in the movie are not uncommon. Maybe that's the main reason why I liked it so much. It adapted the superhero genre to the cultural and social context of rural India without sacrificing tension and good filmmaking in the process.

Literally I have seen the movie and I can say that it's the beginning of Indian Marvel.. the ethnic and godly fight at the end is literally worth watching .. lots of appreciation for the makers . And bollywood makers shuld leran something from south
The budget of the movie is just 18 crore! It's commendable how they managed a super hero movie with such a small budget yet turned out to be such a masterpiece. It deserves a much better trailer.
I did not understand a word of it, and yet I loved it. India has a lot of untapped potential for superhero stuff and good that South is taking initiative as Bollywood is trash and ruins everything it touches! All the best , guys! You rock!

What krish and ra-one failed to achieve this movie did it. Those movies were focusing on the fights and action sequences but failed a big part on the story and character development. "Minnal Murali is what an Indian Superhero would look like, someone whom we can all relate to".

Kerala movies are always dope but I never thought they can create a superhero movie like this , this movie is the best superhero movie in India , every single part of the movie was upto the mark !!! Amazing direction and well executed storyline.
True. But there are exceptions.. Kindly check out They Call Me Jeeg (2015) Italian film. You will notice why.

That Version got struck by lightning as well, they had him suffering so much even tho those liquids didn't come out of his mouth. One of Best Superhero film made in India... Brilliant acting by Tovino and Guru hero and villain equally good can't wait for second sequel..Climax fight scenes and cgi are too brilliant considering low budget of film..Hats off to entire cast and crew for giving this to audience ❤️
