To be fair to KRK, Aamir Khan played a university student at the age of 44 only one year later, and everyone loves that performance 😂

well Aamir did have a young face for 3 Idiots and he could've passed for a mid 20s guy at most. KRK has none of that, he looks in his mid 30s MINIMUM. Aamir also ran into that issue when he once again played a college student in Laal Singh Chaddha and that one was really pushing it.

About what he said in the review- He calls Akshay Kumar old; compares the movie's storyline to any movie from 70s-80s with some addtional spices- like a ghost, transgender woman, and hindu-muslim dynamic; says dialogue- nonsense, direction- nonsense, acting- over, belongs to 70s-80s; also that it was released on an OTT platform during Covid because if it was released in a movie theatre, it wouldn't be able to run a single show.
I would like to recommend you another classic Indian movie, Jaani Dushman (2002) , it is one of my fav soo bad it's good Indian movie.
It is an extremely absurd bollywood movie with elements of sci-fi , supernatural and horror. And scenes that are completely ripped-off of classic Hollywood blockbusters like The Terminator and The Matrix.
The movie feels like it's a fever dream , like it shouldn't even exist , which is wild considering the movie has a lot of popular bollywood actors like Akshay Kumar, Sunny Deol and Sunil Shetty.

KRK and this movie is that level of legend in the Indian internet. His tweets and movie reviews are entertaining as hell at times.
Bal Ganesh is a pretty good movie considering the fact that its targeted audience were mostly children.
He wanna play as teenager so bad but dont wanna lose those haircut and mustache. Yeah, it checks out
This movie fits the 80s aesthetic with the protag being carted to hospital which used to/is a very popular way to show a pivotal moment in a protagonist's life which changes their character and story. Its supposed to show desperation and helplessness.
Also the amount of recognizable faces I've seen in the snippets of this movie is pretty funny.
All in all, loved the video, loved the sponsor spot even more.
8:08 That's the neat part. The "Mumbai film industry" KRK had to deal with was the North Indian-dominated Bollywood, the defacto Hindi film industry. Bollywood was originally supposed to be the regional Marathi film industry, now called Marathi Chitrapatsrushti, which is a different entity altogether. The cultural colonialism of the film industry and Mumbai as a whole is absolutely worth looking into.
Bollywood is mostly Punjabi, in Maharashtra, calling themselves hindi artist 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Irony is that the actor you show in the “dialogue” critique section, Kader Khan, is one of the greatest dialogue writer/screenwriter of 80s/90s.
He (Kader Khan) has written some cult classics and is a legend.

Funny thing is, I see that most of the other actors are pretty well known, and some are actually A-listers. I doubt the main actor is also the main financer and was willing to put crores so he can get famous, and all the others were having a laugh at his expense. I would too. Strangely, when you talk about Dialogues, we see Kader Khan speaking about peace. Only if he was used to write the dialogues instead of that cameo in the film. In that case, at least the writing of the movie would have been good :( RIP
Apart from KRK and some unknown actors with small roles the rest of the casts are some of the experienced actors in bollywood. They probably did this movie for a quick paycheck.
Is this the worst Indian movie of all time? No, as you only scratched the surface. Try looking at other bad Indian movies like Gunda and Legend 2022, they are just as bad as Deshdrohi.

Think it was Mr India or something , Anil Kapoor is the MC of movie. They do the adaptation in a pretty interesting way , he gets invisiblity same way as in original invisible man but is visible under the red exposure light for photography develpment.
Its a superhero flick.

Unrelated but I recommend you to watch "Kalki AD 2898", which the most successful film in Indian film history, entered 1000 crore club, is a science-fiction based on Indian mythology with fantastic CGIs and of course it's a 3D movie and the theater experience is just magnificent.
But I do like to warn you for some comedy scenes from prabhas which, yk, I felt as cringe.

Still better than watching boring hits bollywood delivers by copying scenes from Hollywood. Those cheap looking VFX, boring same old action scenes, boring hero entries.... the list of disgust is huge.
