When HBO hit Borko with copyright violations, I said let it go. Obviously, truth is, fvcks like HBO, content under fair use act don't work.

Tony not respecting Christopher after getting sober and sacrificing Adriana is one of the most careless things he’s ever done. Dude was loyal beyond anything, he had a big ego but devoted himself completely to Tony and told that to him multiple times, but even in small moments like with the drills he has to demean him for being sober and different from them. He should’ve recognized how much better he was off being sober.
Christopher betrayed Tony all the time
@@Inbraneinthememsanelike when?
It's interesting because they both have a point. That scene is super infuriating, but at the same time, Tony constantly favored Christopher no matter what he did until it just became too much.
Chris feels Tony owes him for sacrificing Ade, but that's what you would be expected to do as a mobster, and not only did Chris clearly do it for selfish reasons (to stay in the life), he even put the burden of the murder on Tony himself. Tony feels he cleaned up Chrissy's mess and that the whole thing was Chris's responsibility to begin with.
Ultimately, the situation is too complex for either to be definitively right or wrong. It's about loyalty to the organization vs. loyalty to your loved ones- Chris and Tony are family in both the Mafia and traditional sense, so the question of who owes who depends on what lense of their relationship you are looking through.
Chris, despite his true motivation, chose Tony over the love his life, and as his uncle/father figure, Tony should have recognized and appreciated that.
At the same time, it was Chris's responsibility and pretty much his fault that Ade was caught and flipped. Tony, as the boss of the family, was really doing Chris a favor by handling the whole thing himself despite the pain it would bring him to kill yet another person he cared for.
It's very tragic and the perfect way to illustrate how the dynamic of two "families" impacts Tony's life and relationships.
go have a lime rickey
Tony bent over backyards for Christopher, gave him early promotions, and plenty of chances despite him being a pretty average earner with a big mouth.
Tony looking totally annoyed when Chris asks him if he’s enjoying the barbecue has been my mood lately 😂

It was definitely a change seeing him stand up to Paulie at the end.
Bobby gained Tony’s respect after seeing him dealing with the bs of uncle Jun and Janice
And also when he floored him for reminding Janice about her days as a whoueh
Also when you see bobby was the most normal guy and was more like the first to die boss
Bobby also gained respect from Tony because Tony stopped respecting Chris. Tony needed a family member to be close to and he knew Chris would never outgrow his immaturity.

Sil treated him like any other member of the crew, plus Bobby never created any issues regarding business unlike Richie or Ralphie.
@@SantomPhRight however when Sil sees something not right he tells Tony like Chris being promoted over Patsy & Paulie going to be a problem if Vito was going to get a pass. I didn't hear any concerns with Sil regarding Bobby cause Bobby unlike the other mooks mentioned was more reliable.

@@JohnnyPorchAGeese LIONEL? Those sets go up for thousands of dollars! Bobby ended up taking a financial transition anyway.
Bobby earned that position despite what anyone thought in that crew, babysitting Junior was hell!!😅
Lime Rickey, the sober man’s “Drink of choice”
It's better than a diet Fanta. 😂
All those years Bobby spent as a mentor under Junior taking on high level tasks such as getting stool softener from the rite aid really prepared him for the role as Tony #3..
Those menial tasks were likely more work than what Christopher, Paulie, Vito, and the others were doing in their day to day.
The driving force why bobby was chosen for #3 was because Tony alienated himself from his crew and he barely had folks left he could trust.
However, I’d argue that Bobby was more fit to be #3 than any other in the crew because those menial tasks HELPED prepare Bobby to simply be responsible and task oriented.
At the same time, he likely picked up a thing or two of how to do business and play the game just by being around junior.
Lime Ricky and a bread stick underneath that natural canopy is what Chrissy needed.
Haha, you can't make dat sh!t up!
Yo-yo Mendez said it wasn’t his corner anymore

Tony: "So they did or they didn't take drills"
Christopher: "They did-dent"
He’s certainly come a long way from making pharmacy runs for Junior’s stool softener
Bobby was in awre of Junior all those years he sat around the house with him.
But now with Janice and da' kids, he started treating Junior like the ugly girl at the dance.
And as far as I would have been concerned, he should have still been there(you know, because staying off the streets is a good thing).
He had to screw his courage to the post. Couldn’t get all F’ed by this setback
When the paramedics found Bobby, he still had half a tray of manicott in his mouth
I heard Carlo's lipstick was on it
I heard he had three coaches and a steam engine in his assss
He didint I swear
Blue Manicomet
only because Janice threw out Karens ziti!
I notice it's remarks like Tony makes at 1:22 "go have a lime ricky or whatever it is you're drinking these days" that are the nastiest, they're supposed to be cutting remarks to diminish Chris' ego down to the core. I'd bear a grudge forever if someone said something like that to me, because it completely encapsulates what someone thinks of you.
Bobby wanted to be #2 but he compromised…he became Burger Boy.
It’s here at 0:50 , when Tony Soprano’s voice literally becomes a cartoon character, “ Dey Did”😂

Bobby was a good fit for Number 3.
He was already more responsible than Paulie and Christopher, and was on his way to earning the respect of others.
Not to mention, what got a lot of folks in trouble was gossiping, having loose lips, being jealous, having an ego, having anger issues, and Bobby barely had any of that, if at all.
If you were a boss, you could at least count on Bobby to do the job and keep out of trouble.
You know it wasn't long ago I remember you used to wait in the car. And as far as I'm concerned you should STILL BE THERE!
It must've been as early as Season 3 when Tony began to see Bobby's potential, his efforts during the Pine Barrens episode.
Bobby’s rise is probably one of the best outlined, and gradual ascensions in fiction.

This is an important point in Sopranos lore but is everyone here aware that Phil did 20 years? Just making sure. 😂
I’m still trying to figure out if folks are aware that Tony didn’t have the making of a varsity athlete.
@@steverogers7601 Ah. The greatest unanswered questions of the series. Indeed. 😂

@@user-ky6yr4tu3wi love that tony had this idea that he could only trust his relatives (chris, bobby) even after what his own mother tried to do to him, and if the airline tickets situation played out she would've testified against him.

Bobby Bacala is Tony Soprano's number 3? You know, Quasimodo predicted all of this...
That Lime Rickey line was cold!

Mobster: And you used to upload Sopranos clips on youtube.
He was never offered his soft drink of choice up in the club. Poor man had to eat grilled cheese off the radEator for 20 years.

“And you use to sell laser printers out the back of your crown vic” 😂😂
You know, the more I re-watch this show, the more it's clear that Bobby was always that loyal, strong silent type the whole crew kept gushing about.
-Always made his payments
-Loyally obeyed his superiors
-Was a (comparatively) dutiful husband and father who was faithful to his spouse; twice I might add
-Never (openly) complained or whined about his problems despite the *extremely* difficult situations he was put in.
-Never talked up a big game or disparaged against other made guys.
He may not have been the sharpest tool in the shed, but the fact he was never too proud to actually *listen* is more than I can say for so many of the characters in this series.
I'd call it a shame he got clipped, but that hit-job on Junior's Manicotti was brutal.
*HBO* Three copy right strikes within a tight time frame... so he can't upload back
*UA-cam* That mortadella's got 608K subs? He used to upload DragonBall Z clips out the back of his Skoda Octavia
Bobbie stepped up when he got tired of buying stool softener at Rite Aid.
