I was annoyed because the group needed him because the were right in the midst of a WAR and I was frustrated because I wanted him to SNAP OUT OF IT! Fight now cry later.....eh guess thats just me 😞
........and I do get why Rick lost it for awhile there I do. I can even break it down Dr. Phil style if you want me to, Rick was consumed by guilt because he and Lori were at odds with each other for months, I mean things were getting better but they never got to officially reconcile and Rick never got to at least say goodbye so the guilt and the grief were tearing him up inside causing him to see her everywhere.I also believe Lori's spirit if you believe in such things,could not cross over into her final rest until she and her husband got to say their good byes.I get it!!!....But I was still frustrated because you still have a son and new born daughter to look out for not to mention the rest group with your enemies literally at your gates coming to kill ALL of you!...so yeah I was a little annoyed and frustrated with him at this point, not going to lie, or apologize for feeling this way at that time.

Rick's reaction to Lori's death is one of the hardest things to watch because not only is he going through losing her especially during a rough time in their relationship but also he's thinking about the fact that his son not only has to go through life without his mother but also that he had to watch his mother die and also that his son had to kill his mother and also Rick now is stuck with this baby that he has to try to raise in this world by himself and there is a chance that the baby isn't even his. There is a lot of things going through Rick's mind right there and he just collapses.

Lori and Judith had a much darker fate in the comics. Lori was shot by Lilly, a member of the governor’s next army, and well Judith was pretty much smothered under her mother’s corpse

One of the best episodes in this show to date. The ending is emotional ans gut wrenching. Andrew Lincoln's (Rick) performance was spectacular. Even if it was memed. Everyond did a good job here.

Nintendo Studios it got pretty awful for a while lol like seasons 6-8 but season 9 really has been amazing so far, its like a fresh new start and the Whisperers are shaping up to be one of the few things the show does better than the comics

I didn't like Lori either. But as a mother. Her saying goodbye to her son was heartbreaking. And when she said Goodnight Love to Rick. I cried like a baby. Also Maggie crying really got me when she seen Rick.
I cry everytime I see this scene...my first official episode where I cried my eyes out😭

I cried hard af when I watched this episode live and I teared up watching this again 😂. Even if you hate Lori that was a horrible fate. That was so sad for Carl and Rick😭.
Also I’m pregnant and Pat was on the money about the placenta lmao I was dying at them getting on him 🤣🤣🤣.
I hated lori and still do. But she did right by Carl in the end. Not liking someone or their actions doesnt automatically mean that theyre a completely terrible person.

Easily the greatest acting on the show by Andrew Lincoln. This episode solidified him in my opinion. You could feel the emotion through the screen.
Theodore Douglas is the name you're looking for, and he's probably called T-Dog because that's probably the name that Theodore gave them to use. RIP T-Dog, you were a good man.
Rick crying for Lori and for Carl having to kill her (or prevent her from turning) is the saddest thing.
Carl’s strength in that moment, that kid has some nerves of steel, to do what he did and handle things at that age, he deserves more credit than he gets

In the first few seasons there are only a few select episodes that I remember the name, the season, the episode number I the entire plot. This is one of those episodes. An absolute masterpiece. There are many more to come, ignore people hating on the show if any do, and just enjoy it yourselves!
Acting was phenomenal by the cast of the Grimes family.

I know ppl laugh @ his falling - but real grief can actually give you a gut reaction that feels like a punch. I understand why he fell. Fun thing about this episode is for the recordings of the crying for Andrew Lincoln he was at the time actually going through a real life loss and the director wanted to see what his real pain looked like couple of bloopers clips on UA-cam show Andrew Lincoln truly breaking down
Real talk: Lori's death cert was signed the second she started bleeding in a dirty, old boiler room, with her young son, an unqualified Maggie, and a rusty knife. There was no saving Lori. I don't get why people think she sacrificed for the baby. There was no way to let the baby die and have Lori survive. She would have bled out or we'd have found out what happens to babies that die in the womb in the ZA.

One of the most underrated episodes. Definitely close to my top 5, and the fact it's not number 1 is a testament to how brilliant some of the episodes in this show are.
FINALLY! I was so excited when i saw you uploaded!!!!
Okay so now that I've watched the reaction, when I first saw the episode I wasn't sad that Lori died to be honest, but I was devastated when Carl was the one to kill her. The strength that takes, I just cried like a baby perhaps because I have a son and I just imagined my son feeling like he had to be the one to end my life. UGH it's too much. Watching this again with you guys I teared up lol it's just such a powerful scene. I did love the things Lori told her son, I think that it was so important and may have been what strengthened Carl's resolve on being the one to kill her.
T-Dogg, I wish they would have just called him Theo or something that's neither here nor there, I felt like it was the right time for him to die when I watched the show the first time around and I think that, that moment is pivotal in Carol's character development.
Michonne is my favorite character hands down I adore her. She's strong, smart, wise, and fierce. I love how she interacts with the Gov, like she sees through him. She only gets more bad ass as time goes on. I'm excited to see what y'all say when you see the upcoming episodes shit is getting so real.

This scene touches my soul every time I see it. Women sacrifice ourselves giving birth. I know from personal experience when I came very close to death myself when I gave birth to my youngest son a year ago by c-section I blead out and passed out they had to give me a hysterectomy and 7 bags of blood threw a blood transfusion. I woke up on a ventilator

I saw this episode on a one off when my brother was watching it and this was the episode that made me binge watch 4 seasons in 2 weeks
I can never get thru this episode without bawling my eyes out. The acting was superb...Lori, Rick, Carl, and Maggie... Maggie coming out with that baby in her arms all devastated, Rick falling to the ground. My eyes are BURNING right now. This episode made me a TWD fan for life. T Dogg deserved better man, right when he got that Dale conscious they kill him whyyyyyyyyyy.
