fun fact, 2 years ago, at a horror convention in my town, the guy who played Andrew, Lew Temple, was there. i got to meet with him, and he's such a nice guy! i talked to him about how his role as Axel really improved upon the comics version and you know what he told me? he said "yeah, i woulda liked for me and Carol to become a thing and i'd take him to new heights, but goddamn Governor cock blocked me with a headshot." no lie. i even got a picture signed from him and a picture with him

Here's an interesting fact that not many knew about. Apparently Andrew Lincoln liked the guy who played Axel, Lew Temple. When he found out he was going to be killed off he went to the production and even producers trying to convince them to keep him alive and make him a series regular. Even saying that they may be making a mistake killing him off. Even suggesting killing off one one of the characters from Tyreese's group before they integrated into the Governor's group. Well, sadly, when the Governor attacked the prisoner they wanted it to hurt and make him shed blood. Having him fire rounds and not hit anyone would make an impact. Axel was the one who was chosen to die as they felt he would make a better impact. It's quite sad as it would have made things very interesting with what could have been.
Maggie was angry because Glenn was acting like he was the one who went through it He made the anger at what happened to her all about him and how he felt Maggie clearly wanted to move on but he was focused on what happened and turned her into a victim and he wouldn’t let it go until she spoke about it Someone who goes through that shouldn’t be forced to talk about it unless they want to He forced her hand in a sense that’s why she pushed him away when he tried to console her She just wanted him to treat her normally this whole time and he wasn’t I’d have been angry too.
Yes! He prioritized his own experience and the feelings of shame, helplessness, and insecurity that came up in him in reaction to what happened. I feel like we saw another manifestation of this in his reaction to the shootout in the bar with Rick and Hershel after Shane let all hell break loose. He was hard on himself about freezing in the heat of the moment and made that mean something inadequate about himself as a man, as a leader, his character, etc. He was so focused on that he couldn't recognize that not only did others not see him or the situation that way but the bigger picture of their making it home-safe.
On top of grieving the no sleep combined with lack of appetite probably amplified his state of psychosis

I think Maggie felt like Glen was more worried about how he feels about what he thought happened than what actually happened to Maggie and how she felt about it. It was more about what he lost than what she felt. He was treating her like his property rather than a woman with her own feelings about the matter.

Another fun fact: the prisoner that was killed was supposed to continue his story line as a serial killer and carol would’ve been his first victim. But decided to keep carol on the show

In the comics, Carol wanted a three-way relationship with Rick and Lori and, when they both shot her down) she went and embraced a walker that they had tied up (for experimentation, if I recall) and it tore her throat out. All while Sophia (who she had been neglecting, at this point) was watching on.
Fun fact: In the comics, Sophia survived until the end.

Actually, they did. The scene was cut. In the deleted scenes section of the Blu-ray you see Lori as a Walker. And then you see Rick go in for a kiss, as Mishonne looks on in disbelief watching Rick embrace and kiss thin air.
Rick, and Daryl are the best parts of this show for real
Rick just wants closure with Lori He never got to say goodbye to her I know he’s needed elsewhere but he’s trying to put an end to it.

funny you guys said "what if it's actually a zombie" cause there's a deleted scene where the same scene happens but then it cuts to lori and it is actually a walker
The difference is that Daryl is now for the first time in his life wanted by people that care about him He sees Merle is the same A-Hole from the beginning That is why Daryl chooses to go back He is not the same hillbilly.

I feel like Axel was lying bc first he says he’s in there for “liking pharmaceuticals” and then says it was an armed robbery. In the comics there’s a prisoner who’s like a huge creep so I’m guessing that’s actually why he’s in there, especially after flirting with a child.
In a deleted scene on UA-cam and on the DVD Lori’s ghost does become a Walker while he kisses her outside the prison fence Rick recoils in fright and she has a tear in her eyes Obviously haunting Rick’s mind that she was devoured But I guess they decided if he saw her as a Walker it would not make much sense for Rick to continue looking for her since she’d be a monster now and not his wife.
