I actually worked at the apartments you showed, Elliot on Abernathy, over 20 years ago and I think the renovation is amazing! Back then they were called Avalon on Abernathy. They are old. Like at least 50 years. I lived there as well and I loved how large they were. I lived in the same floor plan you were showing …unit 765. It felt more like a home then an apartment. They do tend to get a bit dirty, like the screened in porch, but our team did our best to keep the breezeways clean. And as for the apartments, I would do a walk through prior to a move in and if the cleans had missed something and there was no time to get them back, I personally took care of it. Completely different company and on site team. I use to think the pin down placement was weird too, but you definitely appreciate it for furniture placement.
