First I was over the moon for Pogacar, then gutted for Roglic. However, when you think how Pogacar clawed his way back from 1.21 down after falling behind in the crosswinds stage 7, you have to say he truly deserves it.
Extreming gc riders rest on the flatter stages in the peloton and really only compete on the climbs. They put out “only” around 200-250watts in the peloton on flat, which is about zone 1 to low zone 2 for these guys. They really don’t go into threshold that often. A very bittersweet result. I loved the way both of them showed sportsmanship. Roglic with immediately going and congratulating Pogacar and Pogacar's humility and how his dream was to just be in TDF, let alone win the Yellow jersey
My heart goes out for Roglic tonight! True champion in his own regard! Pogacar is here to make history. Would be good to see what Egan Bernal has in store for next year. One rivalry to look forward to.
Pogacar is truly amazing. I look forward to the next several years, watching him, Revenepoel, Sepp Kuss and other youngsters mature and develop amazing rivalries. And, like so many others, I share the sadness for Roglic.

GREAT great Tour this year! So refreshing to see the strongest rider beat the strongest team (as much as I like Roglic). Outstanding: The epic stage to the Col de la Loze (should become a classic like Alpe d'Huez, Galibier, Ventoux...) and this time trial. What else was memorable? Certainly the attacking spirit of Carapaz and Hirschi, the versatility and overall work that van Aert and Dumoulin put in, the duel of Bennett and Sagan for green, Alaphilippe attacking in the mountains. Was hoping for Roglic to make history winning two grand tours in a row and for Pogacar to win in the future. Primoz had way more help though and got destroyed in the time trial so it's easy to acknowledge the performance by Tadej and be happy for him. Looking forward to next year
Class act by Roglic - first thing he does is congratulate Poga after this devastating loss.
Definitely so. I can't help to feel for him though. He and his team was dominating the tour, gave it their all, but it all came crashing down on the last real race day.

Great comeback!! Now I want to see the Pocket Rocket take the final sprint!
I was there at La Planche des Belles Filles. You could really see IRL how broken Roggo looked.
