Let us know how we can help guys we would be more than glad to support you supporting your brothers and sisters. Mahalo 🙏
Kalei's upside down playing, left handed strung I'iwi with his right hand, is better than my right handed playing my right handed strung ukes! Awesome podcast. Thanks again to everyone for sharing the ukulele love!
Some over the top ukus this week really enjoyed watching 🏝️💪
The weekly treat for us ukulele obsessives. Brilliant as always. Those aNueNue’s are pretty special. The yearly membership to the site is a great way to support. Some amazing lessons/sessions on there for people to access. There is a global community out here who watched the wildfires with horror. Some kind of ukulele online event would be heavily subscribed to. Go for it! Happy to support.
Heart felt best wishes to all affected by the devastating situation in Maui. Totally heartbreaking, on line concert involving the larger on line community, doing what you guys do best, am sure will help. The world Uke community are such a caring set of people am sure it will be warmly received.
Played your first song three times already, man that beat is in my soul now. Wow. The Ko’olau, that intonation and that wood. Then you follow with mouthwatering array of Ukes.
You guys take care. Outstanding podcast.
Joe gave $700 dollars to those who lost their homes in the fire. $700 dollars is more than enough to rebuild the Hawaiians Grass Shacks, thanks Joe and Jill. Joe and Jill will be visiting soon. Meanwhile joe has given BILLIONS of dollar too Ukraine and more too come. Too bad Hawaiians are American Citizens….. 😢😢😢…
I love the online concert idea as a fundraiser!
It was awesome to see some soprano and concert love. My preferred size is concert, but love my sopranos too. I just love the classic sound of those sizes. Its also a blast to push the limitations of them. Always a treat to watch guys🤓🤙
Awesome stuff guys
Thank you so much for showing us the chords you’re playing. Much appreciated ❤
Of course, wonderful music and instruments, like always. But a serious note: How about auction a ukulele, but have every bid a donation to Maui Strong or some other hands on help org. The high bid would still win, but each bid would be a donation in itself. It would magnify the amount raised by a lot.
Thank you for the music, gentlemen.
Hi guys, I'd like to send a whole bunch of support to the families affected during this hard time... The online concert suggested by Kalei would be a great opportunity to raise funds to help, and I would be involved for sure.
I'm currently at 24 min of today's gem..
And it's the first day of holidays I can enjoy since 2020...
Thanks, it couldn't start better...
Stay safe and take care of each other
Ah, and Kalei... We have a small thing in common... We're both left handed playing with right hand tuned ukes... Even though one is a bit (a really really big bit) more talented than the other ...
I noted Jake Shimabukuro has something started Saturday w/ a number already signed up to join playing also as a benefit. I think 3:00pm Hawai’i time? Then Craig posted something about a thought of instead of doing the usual Backyard Concert he and Sarah were thinking of a way to do a proper fundraiser that day instead for this huge ongoing need there will be to support those in the devastation in Maui. They need more to sign up on their YoutTube page. (I see an immediate need for the many who lost every single thing…and then I’m thinking there’s an ongoing need for a long time some will be out of a way to earn a living, even have a place to call home.) There are many of us on the mainland. I’d certainly like to do a bit now and ongoing. Prefer something handled by those in Hawaii I know.
Amazing i love so much corinne bailey rae long time i never listen, thx a lot make me remember what i feel ❤
Thinking of all your brothers and sisters on Maui who have been so tragically affected by the fire. So many of us stand ready to help however we can.
These guys play so beautifully, it makes the ukulele like the king of all instruments, but we know the Electric guitar is king, but I'm just saying damn! If I played like these guys, I wouldn't be able to stay home
I love the idea of an online concert with Kalei and Corey and some of the special guests you’ve had on your shows in the past! Please do it so we can all help Maui!
What brand of strings are on the Black Whale aNueNue, especially which low G, too? Love the sound, especially low G Black Whale tenor!❤️
I’m also online to makana for Maui relief, just let us know
Papillon (PAP-ee-yon): French for “butterfly.” Also a great movie (starring Steve McQueen and Dustin Hoffman), based on the autobiography of Henri Cheriere - who had a large butterfly tattoo on his chest - who escaped from Devil’s Island penitentiary. (This comment relates to the song played by Corey on the aNueNue “whale” model).
GugaFoods can jam!
How much apx is a Black Whale Tenor...❤ that sound.

What is the price point on that black whale tenor uku by anuenue?
I could see myself paying up to 4,000 for a good quality ukulele IF I made GOOD money as a Musician. But as for now I have a Mitchell Baritone and a Gretch Tenor, these 2 instruments costed me a little over 100 a piece and I'm still smitten by them after 6 years, wow, I can't believe it's been that long
