Matt, thank you so much for these videos. I started watching them to learn simple tricks to show my kids, and now my 7 year old has started watching you too so he can learn the self-working ones. He has been practicing your "countdown" trick and he had a great time at a new years eve party today showing it off to all the parents. Yours is the only magic channel he will watch because your videos are clear and slow, so you've got a fan!
Matt...love the trick, very impressive and even for beginner sleight of hand is manageable. Ran into to one challenge as one of my "subjects" actually pulled a JACK as their card...had to improvise...not sure how you might handle that...
Thank you very much! I love card tricks . I'm not a pro just a hobby entusiast. I've seen a lot of card tricks, but this trick is already becoming my favorite trick. For me, this is the best trick for beginners. It is just briliant!
First time I trained the trick, and obviously I picked a jack as *The spectator* cards. Not a big deal choosing kings to follow the trick. But that means that we can't take out any jack before beeing sure that a jack has not been the choosen card. It's a little detail which can ruin a jack routine. Hope my note will be usefull. Wonderfull trick anyway. Better magician. Thanks for sharing Matt.
Thanks for the warning. I simply say this: "We will perform this trick using magic from the jackrobats. So if the card you choose is a jack, put it back and choose again until it is a different card. Cause only the jackrobats have the magical power". This way the spectator itself will put the card back.
Thanks a million. This is great. I am 76 so hand dexerity is a bit difficult otherwise I would but your book. But I will keep buying you "coffees". God bless you for all the fun you bring into the world.
G'day Matt, I love your magic tutorials. My granddaughter loves magic and so I learn your tricks and show them to her. Thanks so much for posting these up. Cheers!!
Hi, Matt, At the very early stage of your show, I presume it's gonna be difficult. As you proceed further, it appeared to be too impossible to be learnt. But your narrative alongside your tutorial is so impressive that I start to believe, yaap I can do it after I practise hard for a week or so. You're really awesome. Hat's off to this Great Magician.Greetings from Calcutta,India. Namaste. 👏❤️👍🏽🙏🏽🇮🇳
Hey Matt, I really love your tricks and your channel. I began doing card tricks almost two months ago just as a joke but I fell in love with it and especially peoples reactions, it became a hobby of mine that has changed my life because I’m not as shy as I used to be because I’m always going up to people at my school showing them tricks. And your channel has helped me a lot, and the simplicity of the tricks and how you explain them makes it even better which is why I love your channel. My first ever trick I learned was from your channel and I loved it! Love the videos, keep up the great work! And thank you for being an inspiration for me!
Hi Matt …. Absolute stunning tutorial & presentation great little gem going into my repertoire once I’ve mastered it. Hopefully your in sunnier climates performing your great illusion’s & magic. Enjoy. Many Thanks …🥳😎🥳😎🥳
I suggest learning an easy force for the initial pick to avoid issues. I know this trick is kind of intended to do without any sleights, a slip force is really easy to learn and can be used in so many situations, including avoiding a Jack draw here.
When you watch this trick for the very first time, you are probably saying, "How the hell is this done?" it looks so difficult, but the way you have done it and explained it step by step, you make it look so easy. Thanks for showing this and explaining it, I can't wait to do this. The only problem i might have is the story behind it.
Truly amazing, such clever trick, thanks! I'm practicing it right now.. if the spectator chooses one jack, that's not a problem, you just choose four kings or four queens (you did not specify which cards were the acrobats beforehand). The only thing I want to make it smoother is how to justify the first cut to bring the selection to the top, because it can feel a little strange for the spectator while he/she watches the magician pulling out the four cards...
Not at all man, you know what’s happening, they don’t. You search the first half of the pack, then but the deck to search the second half. It’s a natural action, don’t over think it. 👍
Really good routine, Matt. Lots of moments of magic with a powerful ending. Just out of curiousity, is this of your own creation or something that's been around for ages?
Warning haha. I had this practiced and was doing it perfect then performed it for my wife. She picked a card and from there it all went wrong. Her card was the Jack of Diamonds.
Great point: I thought of that, what if your spectator has picked a Jack. If you see only 3 Jacks in the deck can you change the story to a story of Four Kings??

So lot of mindblowing for so low effort! Nice trick, thanks for sharing!
My pleasure. Yes I agree! Lots of bang for your buck here!

That same thing happened to me and that's what I did I said lets use the Acrobatic aces instead as if I changed my mind
Ouch that’s a 52/1 shocker !
If a Jack is choose just change the names like "KingAcrobats"

Thanks so much for the coffee! ☕️
I was smiling the whole time. This is such a fun performance. Thanks so much!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Great routine! Thanks for sharing.
I recently picked up learning card tricks and expected this trick to be difficult but it was easier than I expected
Dud this is a crazy trick can’t wait to practice and do it thanks for sharing
WOW! Brilliant!
This is so impressive. It's quite like the devil's elevator trick that u did. But man this is easy and such a great visual trick
Thanks buddy, glad you’re enjoying it! Plenty more to come

My second favorite 🎉
What’s your first?
I will be playing over and over while I try to perform the trick. It seems like a mind blowing trick!
Another awesome one ☝️! Love it
Thank you Jessie!
The most awaited 🤩🤩🤩
You are the GOAT❤
Thanks for the video. It really seemed too obvious when placed the false Jacks, but great work love you channel

@@MattMcGurkok, thank you!
Amazing
Very nice!
Thanks!
Banging presentation Matt, how was the cruise gig?
Awesome man! Enjoying the sunshine ☀️ Back on the ship again right now.
Really good routine, Matt. Lots of moments of magic with a powerful ending. Just out of curiousity, is this of your own creation or something that's been around for ages?
This is a variation of an old trick
Actually a combination of two
Love it :)
encore un tour trop connu
Great tutorial, It's already left several people stunned.😁
By chance is there a way to recover/save the trick if their selection is one of the jacks?
Absolutely 💯 you’ll know if there card is a jack as it will be next to your key card. Then just use the kings as the stuntmen.
Use the acrobatic aces
It does mean that you can’t take out the jacks until you’ve checked thoufh
How the hell did you get the jack to go from the top to the bottom, and the other jacks to do what they did… I get the first one, not the pthers
The previous one always sets up the next one. Just follow with the cards in hand and you’ll see how it works.
Why couldn't the magician find his rabbit?
Because it was hocus missing!
Warning haha. I had this practiced and was doing it perfect then performed it for my wife. She picked a card and from there it all went wrong. Her card was the Jack of Diamonds.

@@davehollingworth5537 I've seen a similar version of this where they use a family of acrobats and use Jack, Queen, King, and Ace for the acrobats.
@@davehollingworth5537 By the time you are looking for the Jacks the spectator's card is already back in the deck.
Use the acrobatic aces but it means that you can’t take out jacks until you’ve checked
Not easy but POOF!
Pun would be better with Aces : Acecrobats
Thats awesome! THANK YOU 😊
No problem!!
Awesome trick! Thank you!!!
You bet!
