Uh...@thatguyoverthere you need a level of confidence when speaking to a girl/woman. Find out about them and if and when the flow of conversation ends, dont linger then it becomes awkward. It does help tho that the chick is relatively talkative like her. Some are not so much and then it doesnt last past 1 minute.

Very true. I think people forget the context of the conversation, as well. This isn't two people on a date, where both are expected to equally contribute to a flowing conversation. They are two random people who are slowly and spontaneously getting to know each other. The conversation is bound to be choppy/awkward in the beginning.

In all my years, out of all the films and books, I have never found such a organic and adorably awkward conversation. It was beautiful, and the pacing was perfect, each pause purposeful and natural. I felt like one of the guests who was creepily watching their interaction from the side. Within seconds, I was way too invested in these believable, complex characters and wanted them to find happiness together. It almost made me cry, and never has a short film touched me like this. I didn't want it to be over, and now I will be rewatching it and forcing it upon everyone I know. They don't know whats to come. Mwahaha. Thank you.

She likes him a lot. He's not bad either.
Here's my analysis on her thoughts and what happens:
    7:15 Teasing and a compliment
    8:52 Mirroring
    10:35 'I like you'
    10:56 'Aw, that's so sweet'
14:08 First clue. She basically says it out loud. She really IS invested. Into him. His life story.
16:00 More mirroring. He knows his stuff
16:23 She tests to get his reaction.
17:03 First usage of the word 'we' as in 'we're a couple'
    Acknowledging the connection they have
17:22 'I really, really like this guy'
    17:52 Intense Eye Contact
18:30 'Look, I'm touching you. We're officially flirting right now.'
19:21 'Now's your chance. Ask me out!'
19:29 'Okay, you didn't get the message...'
19:37 'Second chance. You'll never see me again!'
    20:12 'Third strike. I'm out.'
20:16 My face, usually, after she leaves
    20:21 'FINALLY!'
And men say women don't try... I wish a woman worked this hard to get me.
Update: thanks for all the Likes, guys.
I first thought, I'm like him but I am more extroverted and social so I guess I'm like her.
    I just realised that.
And I really loved how she seduced him

A quality woman anyways. To put it simply it's natural selection, guy makes the effort and it's up to the women to either reject or accept him and sift out the best genes for future generations.

Now, 9 years of horsing around. All my friends are married, got kids and are way too busy for me. The confidence of youth is gone, time still leaps forwards and way more quickly than I want to admit. This is so similar to how my wife and I met for the first time. It was at a Halloween party given by a couple where she was a girlfriend of the girl giving the party and I was buddies with the guy giving the party. We simply sat next to each other and talked all night at the party. I was too shy to ask her out despite being in my first year of college. A couple days later the girl in the couple that gave the party told me the girl I talked to that night was wondering when I was going to call her to ask her out. It was all about fear of rejection with me as she was a real looker. That was back in 1973.

This should be mandatory viewing for all single people so they would know how "making a connection" and "hitting it off" really feels.

Felt sexual af to me..but I’m the type that gets wet from awkward at first, intellectual, sarcastic/dry humorous banter.

I like the camera work, how the actors when they are strangers they feel a bit far away but as the conversation progress, they warm up to each other the camera sort of brings them close and we feel their warmth towards each other. At first, they were open to the world and by the end, they are in their own cocoon.
