Depending on the year, it will need the timing chain tensioner upgrade, carbon cleaning. Valve gasket leaks are also common thing on these as well. I have a 2011 GTI

@@GaMagenFOX the only good avant for sale near me is by a real crappy dealer. Right now between a 2012 gti 98k miles and a 2010 a4 64k miles
