Getting back into fishing for the first time in a while and I have found your videos to be the most informative and helpful especially for salt water fishing. Keep up the good work!
You can, just don't cast too hard, you'll snap the rod. In most cases a 2oz is plenty, a lot of times even a 1oz. Also consider some 1oz spider weights
Thank you very much for this video!! I have not see any videos dedicated to show rigs that are for the pier fishing!! I am going fishing this weekend at Fort De-Soto and I am going to take 4 rods all ready, with the rigs that you have showed in your videos and see what happens, my baits are going to be shrimp, squid, and molet, so thank you ones again have a good day Sincerely Max.
So I’ve seen that the trolley rig requires an anchor rod and a fighting rod, but your set up doesn’t. If you get a bite do you just reel back the anchor?
i love how he says check the pier if its allowed trolling rig.....the pier i fish at is loaded with no fishing signs lol theres more people out there than i can count fishing
@@monsterhunterveteran Because we are fishing in the top of the water column and your set rig is going to get tangled up when we hook up. That's why the rule at the pier says no set rigs at the end of the pier. Trolley rigs are not allowed at the pier either. And anyone who throws an X-Rap without wire is just asking for it to be bit off. Spanish love to bite shiny snaps and barrel swivels especially on florocarbon

I’m a hardcore fisherman myself.. When comes to tying on cranks plastic lures I tie straight to the mainline.. Catching lots of fish like that…
That works amazing also 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Can I use a 3 oz sinker on a medium/heavy rod, that’s rate up to 1 1/4 oz lure.
Yea that’s a bit to heavy

I LIKE HOW THIS DUDE TEACHES, STRA8 TO THE POINT
thanks
On the last rig, the trolley, was that a snap swivel you attached to the line?
It’s called snapping swivel goes up and down easily.

I’m so clumsy I would never put my lures or tackle box on the thing where you could knock it off into the ocean. I was nervous the whole video.
Lmfaoo 😂😂😂
I THOUGHT THE SAME, A BIRD OR HIGH WIND WILL KNOCK IT OVER AND HE'LL BE SWIMMING FOR IT
I’ve never seen that trolley rig. Thanks!
Appreciate you watching , you welcome

Yea definitely a beautiful place to live and fish
Nice love live bait
Thanks for watching 🙌🏾
I could not find any dab rigs being smoked on this pier
Some people don’t use as much as others
Nice vid🏖
Most important tip. Don’t soak bait anywhere near the end where people are casting lures
Why?
