I just got back from Gatlinburg TN and a breakfast restaurant we ate at had something called “Cherokee Sweet Corn Pone” It was soooo delicious. I’m hoping this is what it was. It looks similar. On mine I add 1 tsp of baking powder and 1tsp bicarbonate soda and salt and also when I want I add 1cup boiled mix vegetables with and 1cup dry meats like ham, chicken....all in smaller bits ... 🇬🇧👏👏👏 Delicious it's an old American recipe not an adaptation 😋😋😋

I started using her stuff when Jiffy wasn't on the isle. And I can truly say I havent went back. But this dish is yummy! I like to add a heaping tablespoon of honey and teaspoon of vanilla to mine....yummy
On mine I add 1 tsp of baking powder and 1tsp bicarbonate soda and salt and also when I want I add 1cup boiled mix vegetables with and 1cup dry meats like ham, chicken....all in smaller bits ... 🇬🇧👏👏👏 Delicious it's an old American recipe not an adaptation 😋😋😋
I make this but I usually use Martha White and add sugar to make it like kinda like a dessert. Everyone Loves it.

@@southerngirlcooks I have before. But when I did it was drizzled onto mixed with butter.. All my friends love Jiffy. I am crazy about Martha White product. I started using her stuff when Jiffy wasn't on the isle. And I can truly say I havent went back. But this dish is yummy! It is ,quick and I use as dessert, side dish with taco night, chili nights, and Christmas and Thanksgiving.
