I took a chance and bought a pair and I'm very glad I did. I think these are very well judged sound-wise. I think this is a very good review.. So that's good.
Just want to add an update, the left earphone developed a fault after only 6 months and is now unusable. I bought it on Ali Express and the vendor there has treated me with contempt. The manufacturer claims to offer a 1 year warranty and I wrote an email to them, actually 2 emails and I have had zero response. So I will never buy their products again, they are a waste of money IMO. FWIW I had exactly the same problem with Hifiman and they fixed it immediately.
The graph reminds me of ath iex1 with that big scoop at 500hz and early rise from there, it's a very expensive flagship iem but it sounds like shit to me. And this looks like a bassy version of og as16 as well which I used before. Yes it gives you all the crazy details and separation to impress you at first but the more you listen the more you feel the timber is off and soundstage is weird. Also to remind this is probably super efficient like as16 and sounds better on phone than high end music players...

I have added a 30Ω Jcally impedance adapter to my AS16 Pro's and it improves the sound through a Mojo 1. They are really good for £42 (+£6 adapter). I like it.

Im using KZ zsx hybrid driver where base is punchi not high but deep and soft, now compaire with KZ AS16 will meet the same sound signature as KZ zsx or much more batter ? please suggest me, im waiting for your response due to im thinking about KZ AS16

How does this compare to moondrop aria or dunu titan s? Since those iem are the most sought after in below 100 usd category.
These are full BA Driver iems so erm the tone, timbre and technicalities are a little different from dynamic drivers so it's like trying to compare apples with oranges.

Ah I'd love to try these but that Balanced Armature scandal makes me afraid to buy KZ
What balance armature scandal? There was a scandal about two small dd drivers claimed to not be working, but they were there to cancel unwanted frequencies. The guy who started the Bru ha ha retracted his claims, but people are such negative a**holes they just won't let it go. On the other hand, qc is patchy on certain models, depending on which factory it's contracted out to. They don't make the IEMs you know. They do research and development and marketing. Just like Reebok or someone like that. Most companies are like that. They don't have production under their own hand.
bro, what volume are you listening to ? These are my first headphones that produce a lot of high frequencies at maximum volume. hitting on the ear
these earphones are very sensitive so specially for this one i am listening to them at about 30% volume
@@ianfann I 60-75. It seems to me that more details are heard, the only rock and metal.. so it's literally very detailed here. I listen to him at 40

yep very late reply but yes if you select or if you dont its a modular cable so you can just buy the cable with mic later i acciderntly orderd the one without mic and just orderd a new cable for 3 uk pound cant find the key lol (american keybord problems) anyway its simple to order a new cable and since its modular you can get a bluetooth cable that puts the battery at the back of your head i got for 25 28 after tax shipping haven't arrived yet for me but in short YES MIC

wish they had better cables and i hope the stock eartips doesnt degrade the sound, and wish they dont need the impedance adapter, packaging could've been better

@@ianfann is it worth buying than the og aria or titan s? Setting aside the differences in drivers and driver count. I have the zax for a long time and I want to buy an iem that's worth of maybe $100 more or less that is neutral-bright or bassy but balanced.

@@sdm789 doesn't affect the hearing for the long term iirc, it's a feeling that your ear is clogged like in an airplane that wouldn't go away
I use both...Headphones for general listening then IEMs for gaming and critical listening.
AS16Pro has a vent, a little hole on the shell same design on all as series. Dynamic drivers are notorious about ear pressure but ba drivers are fine. Still has a vent hole though
