Thanks for the video. Beautiful boat! I should be receiving my Beta 43 in the next couple of weeks (finally!) for my 1986 Gozzard 36 and your videos are appreciated. I'm excited to get her installed but there is certainly a lot of work preparing for the installation. Thankfully, Gozzard yachts handled building custom motor mounts so it should be pretty close to a drop-in with the old Westerbeke 46 mount locations. The flexible coupling is also called a Drive Saver as it will break apart if something stops the prop inadvertently (ie. wrapped rope, log, etc.) and help save your tranny and engine from damage.

What fun . I used a chain hoist to remove the old Yanmar 3hm30 and install a Yanmar 3ym30. I think the Beta is the best choice for a Tayana 37 . It's almost impossible to not put a scratch on something . I've now just installed a 120 hp ford lehman on a TA Chiao CT-54 . That was much more difficult requiring a crane and building a scaffolding inside the boat . One of the steps got broken. Keep up the good work.

Great job! We pulled an old 25HP Volvo out of our Westsail 32 and installed a 40HP yanmar. We too used the boom but I used a come a long. I keep it on the boat just in case. I did pull the engine in Las Pas.
What are your plans? Heading to Mexico? Thank for the videos.
