I have an extra pairing tip (for Quest 2 at least) If you're stuck in "Trying to find your device" when trying to pair and nothing happening then turn on your Bluetooth on your cell phone. I kept trying without BT and was getting mad that nothing happens and I couldn't skip that part. Sadly setup doesn't say anything about it. I always keep my Location and Bluetooth off on my cell phone to save battery.
This is the 3rd video and so far none of themare for beginners. I looked at the docs (skimpy) and it is not clear what to do. This and the videos look like it is for experienced users. Not all of us are. There is a cover over the headset that hides some of the points of interest, like the power input. You tell me tocharge it up, but where? Trial ande error is not my idea of how-to. What do all the things in the box do? Better to know before than after. ETC...
I just got a quest 2 for christmas and i did all the stuff before the software update and now its justsiting at 0%. It wont update at all, how can I fix that
I hit download for my apps in library it says queued for about 20 seconds then goes back to a download button as if i never tried starting the download. Please help i just got my quest 2 today

I was hoping you would mention something about how the account works. in the early days people would complain about the forced Facebook account login with the exact name, date of birth, etc.. can it just be an email address or does it need more?

Hi Everyone, Can someone please tell me if both controllers should be visible in the VR headset? I can see that my controllers are connected, when I press X and A there is light on the controller but somehow When I have to select using controller on my VR screen I can only use the right controller to select any tab/option. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2:07 the problem I’m having is that my quest isn’t giving me a 5 digit code. Instead it’s a code with letters and when I go into the app it’s asking for the 5 number digit code. Can someone help?

Meta asks me to log in with existing account, which I do since I do not own another, Oculus sends me codes by email but cannot help logging in to this Meta thing, VR set asks pairing into Oculus (won't do what you show), . What a complete mess, i tell you. Did even a factory reset on the thing. Still no go. How the eff does this thing get setup (again)

It's so dumb you need the app I cant even sign into it or make an account with all the errors im getting

I got my quest 2 two years ago it works but i had to factory reset Because my timebwas set to gmt AFRICA so im using this to play again

No Cellphone? Use a LINK cable to set things up. Worked for some folk!
