oh DAMN the way you explain everything so precisely continuously while running a category this hard, it's is just so awesome... this has to be one of the best GDQ runs i've watched.
it was the explanation style from 2018's run that brought me to the channel in the first place
I've seen you do all these tricks, glitches and so on a million times, but it's still impressive whenever you do it with the added pressure of being on stage.

Perhaps this is unintentional, but I think this run is probably the most comprehensive SOTN glitch and tech showcase possible; is there a "100% busted" category? What an amazing compilation of game-breaking things. I love it.

Because you need to rush the end bosses quickly, you get all the any% jank and sequence breaking, because you're fighting every boss, you get the All Bosses jank and routing challenge, and the fact that you have to essentially run the game backwards introduces new and exciting types of jank.
Its a perfect jank showcase.

I watched this on the gdq page, but I'm watching the entire run again because it was just so impressive. Almost every trick (with the exception of a shift line I think) just absolutely nailed. All these tricks while also engaging with the couch, the moderator, and explain what you're doing .. it's so impressive. What an amazing run DB, fantastic work.

I'm 24 and me and my brother play this since I'm 7. I play this from start to bottom everytime I discover new tricks and glitches. But dang this video made me realize that there are still a LOT that I don't know about this game.

I'm curious to know what was the really interesting thing the guy was going to say and you told him hold on, and he just never finished what he was talking about cuz he was being polite and you did not stop talking. I mean I love your channel but you talked a lot 😂 I had to take a few breaks during the video. There was just so much information . And I kind of knew most of it or I thought I did at least. I kind of felt bad for the gdq guys at one point. You didn't get a single donation in in the first 25 minutes of the video. Absolutely crazy how much you know about this game.
Crazy how much you learn about a game when you play it nearly every day as your job for a number of years.
DB did get 2 donations in at 5:41, and he was explaining SotN mechanics & glitches to those who may not know much about it, to which I think he did pretty well.
You gotta realize he kinda has to talk a lot. GDQ isn’t just silent speedrunning, especially not when it’s such a hard category he’s running. He literally had to write and practice a script before hand because you can’t just be selected for this and be silent the entire time

Not against it...this segment would take what? 16 min for donations? Pffft...what's Castlevania? 😂, that extra over an hour mins helps explain the capabilities of complicated movements. Games Done Quick has been around for awhile, even glitchless this segment is like less than 20min...without something like this or randomizer...same with Doom, and many other games, you really don't know how hard those glitches are to perform either. 😂🤣😂, but the game is over after you answer the door for pizza or something idk.if they dont
