Nice job! I like the sand blast box too.

I have watched this video several times! :) Yesterday, after watching it again, I went to Harbor Freight and bought me a 12 ton shop press! ;) I'm old and lack the patience and fortitude to beat and hammer anymore. The press was on sale too! :) Keep up the good videos, they really help!!

Really enjoy watching. I'm currently replacing my lower control arms on my 55 wagon so this video was right on target for me! Thanks for all the info you put out there for us!

I tackled these bushings for the first time a month back! Used Mapp gas and melted them, stinky, dirty and just plain tough to do. Good job.

I removed the bushings from original upper and lower A arms with a hammer and chisel several years ago. God that was a lot of work! They are all painted with 2k Eastwood Chassis paint and in a box in my closet waiting for me to rebuild the front end.

I didn't know there was a difference between a threading tap and a cleaning tap. I'm only familiar with starting taps and bottom taps.

folks do not realize how much work you can do without spending a lot of money. im putting a 57 150 4 door back together, i think the car was built in oklahoma in early eighties has a tilt steel front end take care of your knees and back

I can't tell you how much I appreciate your sharing your " on the cheap" tips! A lot of these vids are done shops that have all the equipment to do stuff with and/or their customers money to spend on state of the art sh*t I can't afford. Thanks again.

You need a cheap work table to save your back in the driveway.

Have you considered making the four door into a two door post car?

I've done 2 two door conversion 55 roadsters. This 4 door is more practical for us. She will be hauling her friends and family around. I have a 55 two door hardtop.

Do you plan on keeping the 55 as a 4 door

Yes. It's more practical for my wife. She will be hauling family around and we will use it on vacations. I've done two 4 door to two door conversions before
