Where can I get block tyres for Kymco agility like those in your helpful guide?? Mine are the original slick ones and I cant find better grippiing ones.
Okay thanks. I have just bought an alarm for my Invacare, Orion Pro mobility scooter, the alarm will be delivered in the coming week and I am excited about whether I can mount it myself or if I have to find a company that can help me with it.
Hello mate have you a link for the direct replacement batterys for this model please, purchased second hand scooter same as yours but the batterys fitted are too tall which makes the cover not fit. any help appreciated. cheers
Hi it says 50AH 12v in the manual I have here. I bought them straight from ebay, they were approx £90 each. They usually tell you the size in the sale. There are no direct measurements though, its probably easy to guess by elimination. D
Hello mate, any chance of a video on how to change tyres on the Kymco maxi xls...i have been trying to get a tyre off the wheel rims all blumin day. Just cannot shift it. its sealed to the rims. have changed many tyres on other makes with smaller size tyres. But never had this problem before. absolute nightmare. any help would be great. but a vid would be better. Thankyou all.
I haven't seen the maxi but I did do a tyre video on this one. They can be tricky. Some of the newer scoots have solid tyres molded on where you have to change the whole wheel.
@@avianfish8732 Thankyou for replying . the maxi is the model up from the one in this vid. Its a tubed tyre splits in half like most. but the four tyres on mine appear to have become welded to the steel rims for some reasone. i have prised at them clamped them But the tyres just won,t part from the rims. absolute madness how these things are designed.
@@brianfindsall I had a lot of trouble disecting the kymco tyre initially as I just could not get any purchase with the split rims. Eventually I put it back in the wheel studs loose and did it that way. They were tight though. Aluminum and steel corrosion wont help if they have been on a while. Could try the old washing up liquid and water, then wd40, then maybe a pour a boiling kettle on it, Lastly put it in the freezer then use the kettle. (thermal shocking). Or last resort try and find a rubber solvent to soften it. After that, cut it off or get another wheel. Best of luck D
I brought new batteries and got everything as it should be but it seems they aren't charging I'm only getting the on light for my charger not the charging light :(
Not charging means two things, not drawing current or Brocken charger. So test the batteries separate from your system. Use a car batt charger if it works and draws current then check for a path between the charger and the battery. If path is good then the charger is bad.

Do you have a video of how to install a alarm on a electric mobility scooter ?
I don't Im afraid. We are thinking about it. There was an awful attack in Teesside over scooter theft.
Okay thanks.
