I can't decide on a handguard for my first build. 8 minutes into this video I think I'm sold. The slide presentation is golden. I love this guy. And he's from my home state, too!
I really appreciate this kind of video. I learned what I wanted to and then some and the marketing was light and appropriate. A lot will find it too dry but you have another sale because of it.
I just gotta say ...I'm thoroughly impressed with the engineering and execution of these rails. Not to mention the price is hard to beat. Definitely on my Xmas list.
I'm expecting a V3 in the mail tomorrow. By the look of it I won't be disappointed. I like a full rail on top not only because I get more options for mounting things but also for cosmetic reasons. I like a nice continuous rail on the top of the rifle. I would make an exception for the V2 because the way they top sections are contoured looks very tasteful.
I absolutely love my ALG handguards, I can't believe the quality, ease of installation and the ridiculously low price. The guys at the range think they are pretty sweet as well
Have the V0 on my AR and love it. My next build will definitely have an ALG rail and will also be giving a try with the QMS trigger. Awesome video. Lot of information other mfg. do not provide. The products are great, but the info and engineering as well as overview and installation video keep me coming back.
I have a Larue 12.0 and I never realized it slowed me down because my mind is scared of sharp edges. I have used it in High Power and Carbine competitions. If your rail is sharp, they make rail covers. The Larue was deburred well and it's a comfortable quad rail. I don't think that particular point was honest as it could be. I will try a ALG on my carbine build soon.
Love the rail, but have one rail that i bought two years ago that needs a co-witness acces rail in order for me to use it. Have not been in stock on the ALG defense website for at least two years! Any idea when the co-witness acces will be available again?
I'm sorry if this was covered in the video (I couldn't watch it all because I'm at work :p), but what is the inner diameter of the V3 rail system? I can't find it anywhere, and the ALG website only lists specs for the V2 rail.

Best handguard ive come across so far. And the EMR V1 being the one I want is discontinued.... sad day for my AR.
This is the video that sold me on the ALG V2 Rail. I have one on my 300Blk build and is by far my favorite and the machining is superb!

looks top notch to me. everything you need and nothing you dont. I don't like quad rails anyway. they will be getting my money asap.

I love this rail however I cant get BCM heat shields to fit in the keymod holes like I can on my BCM rail.
