I think your serve is the shot you improved the most in comparison with last season. During your first year, there was no easy game and you had to work hard for each of them. Now, you can win your service games much easier, which means more confidence and more energy saved for return games.

Your UTR level is increasing, which is the best outcome any player could ask for. Keep going!
The main thing is to figure out what you want to work on (whatever that may be), and then work solidly to get there. What we've all seen is a will to do the work, and you've really improved in many areas in the last year, which is obvious to all viewers. As long as you keep up the work, you will keep improving. Go for it Felix; I love the idea that people we know of from our local area (Sutton, and Surrey generally, etc) are really doing well. I'm also happy to see James Beaven doing well too. Happy that Henry Jefferson has made it to a US scholarship, just like Dan Siddall. So many players from this area are kicking goals, it's really great to see.

@@thefedhd1580 you really are ignorant. UTR is a measuring tool. What you're effectively saying is "I don't like to measure something that is measurable". And then you discuss it with university?
Also, so good of you to speak on behalf of the rest of the world. What an arrogant dick you are
Here in Australia, our system uses UTR as the basis for tournament entry. Many other countries do the same. Stop trying to hijack a measuring system that is used in more parts of the world than your own myopic little fantasy land. And besides that, have a look at every tennis pro. They are ALL rated by UTR. Dick.

good work on the qualies. better than last season. yea a first set win in the second match would be good at your game level. one aspect of your game that you can work in this season for your game could be your shot placement and form consistency. you Cleary are working on developing the power, but you need a bit more consistency so you can capitalize with that power and convert points. for example, your slices in the second match were mostly at mid court (while your opponent is at baseline or inside baseline), meaning you are setting the perfect balls for your opponent to wail on them, giving him the upper hand in the rally. go deeper towards the baseline (no mans area to the baseline) which forces your opponent to be on the back foot, and a giving you more time to react to your opponent. and your lobs need to be deeper not perticularly too high. and you seem to be hesitating when your opponent is trying to dominate. don't panic. believe in your training. and you start to be aggressive in your shot selection in those cases. 70-80 percent of the time player at this level will stumble when their opponents mirror their change of pace. that is when you can take advantage. keep up the good work. and don't be shy to hit deep baseline shots and miss by a balls width rather than put the ball low and watch as your opponent hits a winner (this will impact your mentality more the first way). finally train more down the line shots for both forehand and backhand, with your reach you can convert those shots into winners more often. god bless.🙏
