if Activision were actually smart and actually knew how to read data they would know when there's a critical mass of hackers by tracking the amount of daily reports in a control chart starting after a ban wave. When they see the points are consistently going up then they WOULD shut off SBMM until they can detect the cheats and round up accounts for a ban wave. But they are stupid and none of the people that work on "the data" are ACTUALLY data scientists or Data engineers. They are all marketing people cosplaying as Data Scientists.

i’m 21 & i just got into cod when mw2019 came out. i’m not an og in cod but at the same time i’ve played my fair share of multiplayer shooters. i know when a game is fucked up. i bought bo6 with low expectations that it wouldn’t be any better that the last. but i will say i’ve seen what cod can be from watching my big brother & cousins play back in the day. i just hope someone with enough money can come along and save this franchise by buying it out. it’s actually really frustrating & sad to see something i love & that has so much potential be turned into garbage. i’m ngl i continue to play bo6 for the enjoyable moments i have with my friends but it’s not fun as it use to be.

SBMM was how CoD multiplayer used to be, while EOMM is how it is now. I hate modern CoD, and I wish it was like classic CoD games. When current HALO games are better than current CoD, Activision should know they messed up because that means the worst HALO game is still miles better than CoD nowadays.

The bundles are actually decent this year. As much as you can hate on them, cod bundles are one of the better micro transaction in gaming. Way better than Fortnite imo.

BT, the cheating is worse than you think. With game pass, you can cancel and get a full refund at any time. I bought gamepass for BO6 on the 1st, and cancelled it on the 20th, and was still able to get a full refund. this is a major issue because cheaters can play the game for entirely free.
That’s what I did. Beat the campaign, played zombies a lot. Got extremely sick of multiplayer almost immediately and refunded. Glad I didn’t spend $70 on this shit. Genuinely the worst multiplayer of any cod after vanguard imo

OG MW2 had cheat lobbies you could find yourself in. And they still exist. You had glitch switches (lag switch.) People with cracked consoles. However it was never this prevalent. Activision, through their mission to make more money, have allowed cheaters to fester and grow. I knew it was over when Activision advertised their anticheat as if it was a new 3rd game mode.

Servers delay causing you to either die instantly or tank 1000 rounds and the terrible no lane or 2 lane maps that they just rip out of sections of the warzone map is just ridiculously lazy
I've hit headshots that didn't count as headshots and I've hit all chest and got rewarded with a headshot.. This game is unplayable. And yes... That grenade curveball was most certainly knocking someone off their killing spree by force. And that player who took the L probably also went on a deathstreak for the remainder of the match.
warzone has never been good. the only good BR was h1z1 and then fortnite was ok before the sweats locked in on a children's game. h1z1 is my favorite game of all time tho.
Avalon is there, and should be in the game now, not Area 99, or Verdansk back. It's unplayable and has been for a long time, even on the old Warzone Caldera, then the AI bots appeared in lobbies both on your team and on the opposite side, now they are all over the current version atm, I even had an AI bot called Walter White on my team lmao, he likes to look at walls.
First day back on in weeks, after having to REINSTALL the game due to an update bug, I decided to play mp to get my wins to 50 for ranked with friends, not only was I having frequent packet loss and burst issues, I started watching kill cams and realized quite a few actually wall hack aimbot cheaters from the FIRST GAME BACK, these players were all low level and just staring through walls spraying auto locking to the next person and even after typing in chat to report there was no reaction from anyone like there's just mindless freaks playing this game and cheaters get away with it, not a good experience and it's definitely not a way to keep me engaged
I really thought bo6 could go into a good direction. I was really hyped for a new treyarch game, expecting good (not perfect but at least good) maps, smooth gameplay and just satisfying weapon feel. Especially since imo, mw3 was an INCREDIBLY good multiplayer from my perspective, i loved grinding camos and was really hyped when i got interstellar before season 1. Idk who pressed the red button for bo6 and nuked it into non-existence, because i still can't believe this is a game that has 4 years of work behind it, maybe 10 months at most.
in defense of people thinking the grenade thing was a cheat (myself included), i've seen an identical cheat in escape from tarkov where cheaters had basically heat seeking grenades. so its def a thing.

@@opticalsalt2306 I enjoy it, but it’s a world of difference away from CoD. You cannot run and gun. You will die in one second to a guy you never saw the first 1000 spawns. But it is intense and grows on you. With a good squad, it’s the most fun game ever.
Absolutely right about mw3, went back and it just feels better in every way, the sbmm feels like its been dialed down a lot and the gunplay feels much more consistent with damage
I tried to go back to MW3, but it's now having the same issue as BO6, Invasion takes over 5 minutes to load, once you are in it's just terrible, dsync and rubberbanding, same as Warzone and BO6.
What's absolutely fucking hilarious to me is that zombies hit detection and gameplay experience is infinitely more smooth and consistent. It's only in MP where guns feel like absolute fucking ass. I can hop into zombies and every bullet goes where I'm aiming, and they hit consistently, I can get 1000+ crit kills a zombies run to round 36, but then I go to MP and it's like I can't hit the broadside of the barn and it feels like my bullets are fucking useless.

MWIII, especially with 10v10, is so good. Sledge really deserves applause for their efforts. And I ignored it at the beginning cause I thought it was just DLC. Good to see some gameplay of it here again.
My theory around the maps still stands, they originally had more legacy maps in the original build of Black Ops 6, but after the backlash of the MW3 using MW2 2009 maps they had to shift away. They used assets from their Warzone map and used unused assets from IW maps to make some of the maps and then turned to AI for maps like Payback and Babylon.

I was killed in spawn by a spring mine. I saw it, layed down, died. Didn’t have damage going into prone. Checked to see if flak jacket was on, it was. No kill cam. Happens often with cross map frags as well.
Also it continuously happens, I get on and go on a massive streak, drop like a 5+ KD game, drop a nuke or get closed to it, then next game I play against THE EXACT SAME PLAYERS, same people I just shit on, and suddenly I can’t kill them…for the next couple games I need to sweat my ass off to kill the exact same players I just absolutely melted and nuked on. They not doing anything special or different, but I can’t win as many 1v1s anymore, my bullets just do much less suddenly .Happens daily. I still beat them but it’s like the game forces me to have a 2kd now after one super high KD game. I believe in this live in game nerf theory honestly.

Can confirm the Timmies will get you shadowbanned. Playing at 3am local time I got matched with them for a total of two games, and finished the diamond grind for knife/bat. Can we all guess what happened the game after? 🤣
If you are on PC, it takes 5 reports for a shadowban, the threshold is so high on PC, then it goes PS5 then Xbox, it's based on the playerbase, obviously PC is the easiest to cheat on, but their are machine learning cheats now available for console, it's complicated but it does exist. Most cheats use DMA cards to get round Ricochet, and the providers themselves only take 2 hours to use ChatGPT to recode the suite to get it back online, so these banwaves are the big providers, but there are so many now it's like a wild west out there, Microsoft have done nothing and just let business as usual.
Well, all I can say is that I went from bots to sweat/sus in two games. Activision/Blizzard are wholly to blame for not putting their feet down, starting all the way back to Vanguard. And why would they - the player base has largely shown themselves buying every title without complaint. BT, I hope you see this comment. I need to share the experience I had last night (after which I am officially DONE with COD). I played with a 2 friends last night and 6 times in a row, we got thrown into lobbies that were nearing completion and on the losing side. Every. Single. Time. Every game mode selected besides Search. Then, the first round we got, that was actually starting from the beginning, (match #7 for us), about 1 minute in, the entire team left, and it was a 3v6 (this was face-off on stakeout). The literal moment before it ended, the game spawned in 3 level 1's on our team. Had I not checked and SAW that it was just us 3 the entire round, I would have never guessed that was the reason we were just infinitely spawn trapped. THEN, (match #8) we spawn into TDM on Subsonic. Seems fine, and at the beginning of the match, we have a full team. ** I SHIT YOU NOT, 1 FUCKING MINUTE IN, OUR TEAM LEAVES AND ITS JUST US 3 AGAIN. ANOTHER 3v6 ON HARDCORE TDM!** After a few minutes of rage, 2 more team mates spawn in. It's now a semi-normal 5v6; but here's the catch and where things get VERY FUCKING WEIRD: One of our newly spawned-in team mates, **USERNAME WAS Alvarox** Their SOLE PURPOSE was to follow me around, like a magnet, and as soon as I would engage an enemy, would slide in front of me or walk in front of me, forcing me to shoot them and in turn, kill myself for doing so. Until the point of running directly in front of my gunfire, they would just lay on their stomach; not shooting, not moving, nothing. Just laying there. As soon as I started shooting, they would TAC SPRINT/SLIDE TOWARD/IN FRONT OF ME. There is literally no way that they could have known when I was shooting, as I was BEHIND THEM many of the times. It's literally as if this BOT was placed into our lobby to ENSURE that I did not get kills to make sure that the enemy team won the match. This happened literally about 30 times. Far FAR too many to be coincidence. I have never, in the 10 years of playing COD, seen ANYTHING like last night before. I have a 1.2KD, and I am not even very good. I usually end matches positive, but not by a giant margin. Fuck Activision, fuck this game, and fuck Treyarch.
Zombies is the only thing worth playing on this game and even that gets boring after 2 games. Next thing im saving for is a PC/laptop/tablet of some sort to play emulation games of all the old consoles. Im sick to death of this 💩franchise

You can buy Emulator Consoles that have a few hundred old games on them already and then download games to a USB and plug that into the emulator, They're quite a bit cheaper than buying a whole PC. I got 1 for my Dad last year that is shaped like an old Computer he had when he was a kid and he's been playing it quite a bit.

I’ve been saying since MWII that SBMM and just playing against good players is one thing. But the games are actually rigged. You lose gun fights to people who are clearly way worse than you, just because the game gives them free kills on you that they don’t deserve, thats a whole other level of frustrating

haven’t watched the whole video yet but just needed to leave this comment here. ever since bo6 dropped, playing MW3 has been a DAY AND NIGHT experience compared to the consistent gameplay loop i was getting just two months ago through SBMM in that game. i’ve been consistently dropping high kill games regardless of what map i play, dropped my first nuke the other day with a naked smg, and have gotten top of the leaderboard virtually every single game i play if it wasn’t my boy on top of the leaderboard as well (MIND YOU he is level 1250 and plays the game pretty much every day so you’d think we’d be getting the most insufferable lobby’s imaginable). also wanna throw it in that this is all while i’m going for the interstellar grind on that game. i can actively feel myself getting better at this game in a way i have not seen since black ops 4. would also like to note that im game sharing bo6 with a friend attempting to go for dark matter and it is complete hell. i have backed out of more games than i’ve actually played in full and the SBMM doesn’t even try to hide itself. i’m CONVINCED that sledgehammer has taken advantage of the fact that MW3 is no longer the mainstay call of duty and has taken the liberty to go behind activisions back and severely turn down the sbmm. i feel amazing playing mw3 and am able to appreciate everything the game has to offer from 10v10 on OG maps or the small map moshpit that includes original maps that everyone enjoys playing on and not just shipment. compare the meat grinder maps to bo6 with everything in the face off playlist, its brain dead and mind numbing playing the game. sledgehammer has done a spectacular job and it feels so good to be able to say something positive about a recent cod game. highly recommend going back with your buds to play mw3 and imagine its 2009. would also love to see you maybe make a video on this if you end up having the same experience as i am right now. love the vids and the messages you put out, thanks for being awesome
This is why I haven't played much multiplayer yet. I stopped playing MW2 because of raging, so if I have a decent game and get shadow banned, I just won't want to play it anyway. It really feels like they wanted to focus more on Zombies and Warzone, more so on the former, this year. Maybe I'll try for dark matter eventually, but the game seems to have worse problems than mw 2019 multiplayer did in season 4 and after. (Only specify that since I stopped playing MW2 and never picked up MW3)
Fun fact: Hackers can now manipulate the game code (as it’s public) to trick the game into thinking they’re using a console. Me and my buddies were in a match with several very low level “PlayStation Players” who were ripping the lobby apart with quad feed headshots through walls, on core too by the way. i’m 21 & i just got into cod when mw2019 came out. i’m not an og in cod but at the same time i’ve played my fair share of multiplayer shooters. i know when a game is fucked up. i bought bo6 with low expectations that it wouldn’t be any better that the last. but i will say i’ve seen what cod can be from watching my big brother & cousins play back in the day. i just hope someone with enough money can come along and save this franchise by buying it out. it’s actually really frustrating & sad to see something i love & that has so much potential be turned into garbage. i’m ngl i continue to play bo6 for the enjoyable moments i have with my friends but it’s not fun as it use to be.

OG MW2 had cheat lobbies you could find yourself in. And they still exist. You had glitch switches (lag switch.) People with cracked consoles. However it was never this prevalent. Activision, through their mission to make more money, have allowed cheaters to fester and grow. I knew it was over when Activision advertised their anticheat as if it was a new 3rd game mode.

Avalon is there, and should be in the game now, not Area 99, or Verdansk back. It's unplayable and has been for a long time, even on the old Warzone Caldera, then the AI bots appeared in lobbies both on your team and on the opposite side, now they are all over the current version atm, I even had an AI bot called Walter White on my team lmao, he likes to look at walls.

Just got wrongfully banned after encountering actual hackers. This game is broken.
First day back on in weeks, after having to REINSTALL the game due to an update bug, I decided to play mp to get my wins to 50 for ranked with friends, not only was I having frequent packet loss and burst issues, I started watching kill cams and realized quite a few actually wall hack aimbot cheaters from the FIRST GAME BACK, these players were all low level and just staring through walls spraying auto locking to the next person and even after typing in chat to report there was no reaction from anyone like there's just mindless freaks playing this game and cheaters get away with it, not a good experience and it's definitely not a way to keep me engaged

I really thought bo6 could go into a good direction. I was really hyped for a new treyarch game, expecting good (not perfect but at least good) maps, smooth gameplay and just satisfying weapon feel. Especially since imo, mw3 was an INCREDIBLY good multiplayer from my perspective, i loved grinding camos and was really hyped when i got interstellar before season 1.
Idk who pressed the red button for bo6 and nuked it into non-existence, because i still can't believe this is a game that has 4 years of work behind it, maybe 10 months at most.

I tried to go back to MW3, but it's now having the same issue as BO6, Invasion takes over 5 minutes to load, once you are in it's just terrible, dsync and rubberbanding, same as Warzone and BO6.

What's absolutely fucking hilarious to me is that zombies hit detection and gameplay experience is infinitely more smooth and consistent. It's only in MP where guns feel like absolute fucking ass. I can hop into zombies and every bullet goes where I'm aiming, and they hit consistently, I can get 1000+ crit kills a zombies run to round 36, but then I go to MP and it's like I can't hit the broadside of the barn and it feels like my bullets are fucking useless.

My theory around the maps still stands, they originally had more legacy maps in the original build of Black Ops 6, but after the backlash of the MW3 using MW2 2009 maps they had to shift away. They used assets from their Warzone map and used unused assets from IW maps to make some of the maps and then turned to AI for maps like Payback and Babylon.

I was killed in spawn by a spring mine. I saw it, layed down, died. Didn’t have damage going into prone. Checked to see if flak jacket was on, it was. No kill cam. Happens often with cross map frags as well.

Also it continuously happens, I get on and go on a massive streak, drop like a 5+ KD game, drop a nuke or get closed to it, then next game I play against THE EXACT SAME PLAYERS, same people I just shit on, and suddenly I can’t kill them…for the next couple games I need to sweat my ass off to kill the exact same players I just absolutely melted and nuked on. They not doing anything special or different, but I can’t win as many 1v1s anymore, my bullets just do much less suddenly .Happens daily. I still beat them but it’s like the game forces me to have a 2kd now after one super high KD game. I believe in this live in game nerf theory honestly.

Can confirm the Timmies will get you shadowbanned. Playing at 3am local time I got matched with them for a total of two games, and finished the diamond grind for knife/bat.

If you are on PC, it takes 5 reports for a shadowban, the threshold is so high on PC, then it goes PS5 then Xbox, it's based on the playerbase, obviously PC is the easiest to cheat on, but their are machine learning cheats now available for console, it's complicated but it does exist. Most cheats use DMA cards to get round Ricochet, and the providers themselves only take 2 hours to use ChatGPT to recode the suite to get it back online, so these banwaves are the big providers, but there are so many now it's like a wild west out there, Microsoft have done nothing and just let business as usual.
Well, all I can say is that I went from bots to sweat/sus in two games. Activision/Blizzard are wholly to blame for not putting their feet down, starting all the way back to Vanguard.
And why would they - the player base has largely shown themselves buying every title without complaint. If you were a publisher and realised you could pump slop yearly to a massive financial windfall, wouldn't you?

BT, I hope you see this comment. I need to share the experience I had last night (after which I am officially DONE with COD).
I played with a 2 friends last night and 6 times in a row, we got thrown into lobbies that were nearing completion and on the losing side. Every. Single. Time. Every game mode selected besides Search.
Then, the first round we got, that was actually starting from the beginning, (match #7 for us), about 1 minute in, the entire team left, and it was a 3v6 (this was face-off on stakeout). The literal moment before it ended, the game spawned in 3 level 1's on our team. Had I not checked and SAW that it was just us 3 the entire round, I would have never guessed that was the reason we were just infinitely spawn trapped.
THEN, (match #8) we spawn into TDM on Subsonic. Seems fine, and at the beginning of the match, we have a full team.
** I SHIT YOU NOT, 1 FUCKING MINUTE IN, OUR TEAM LEAVES AND ITS JUST US 3 AGAIN. ANOTHER 3v6 ON HARDCORE TDM!** After a few minutes of rage, 2 more team mates spawn in. It's now a semi-normal 5v6; but here's the catch and where things get VERY FUCKING WEIRD:
One of our newly spawned-in team mates, **USERNAME WAS Alvarox** Their SOLE PURPOSE was to follow me around, like a magnet, and as soon as I would engage an enemy, would slide in front of me or walk in front of me, forcing me to shoot them and in turn, kill myself for doing so. Until the point of running directly in front of my gunfire, they would just lay on their stomach; not shooting, not moving, nothing. Just laying there. As soon as I started shooting, they would TAC SPRINT/SLIDE TOWARD/IN FRONT OF ME.
There is literally no way that they could have known when I was shooting, as I was BEHIND THEM many of the times. It's literally as if this BOT was placed into our lobby to ENSURE that I did not get kills to make sure that the enemy team won the match. This happened literally about 30 times. Far FAR too many to be coincidence.
I have never, in the 10 years of playing COD, seen ANYTHING like last night before. I have a 1.2KD, and I am not even very good. I usually end matches positive, but not by a giant margin. Fuck Activision, fuck this game, and fuck Treyarch.
Zombies is the only thing worth playing on this game and even that gets boring after 2 games.
Next thing im saving for is a PC/laptop/tablet of some sort to play emulation games of all the old consoles.

You can buy Emulator Consoles that have a few hundred old games on them already and then download games to a USB and plug that into the emulator, They're quite a bit cheaper than buying a whole PC.

I’ve been saying since MWII that SBMM and just playing against good players is one thing. But the games are actually rigged. You lose gun fights to people who are clearly way worse than you, just because the game gives them free kills on you that they don’t deserve, thats a whole other level of frustrating
I see the hackers as protesting against the shit game and predatory matchmaking. I'm rooting for these cheaters because I know for a fact they are annoying the hell out of Activision and it's the only way to actually get them to listen.

haven’t watched the whole video yet but just needed to leave this comment here. ever since bo6 dropped, playing MW3 has been a DAY AND NIGHT experience compared to the consistent gameplay loop i was getting just two months ago through SBMM in that game. i’ve been consistently dropping high kill games regardless of what map i play, dropped my first nuke the other day with a naked smg, and have gotten top of the leaderboard virtually every single game i play if it wasn’t my boy on top of the leaderboard as well (MIND YOU he is level 1250 and plays the game pretty much every day so you’d think we’d be getting the most insufferable lobby’s imaginable). also wanna throw it in that this is all while i’m going for the interstellar grind on that game. i can actively feel myself getting better at this game in a way i have not seen since black ops 4. would also like to note that im game sharing bo6 with a friend attempting to go for dark matter and it is complete hell. i have backed out of more games than i’ve actually played in full and the SBMM doesn’t even try to hide itself. i’m CONVINCED that sledgehammer has taken advantage of the fact that MW3 is no longer the mainstay call of duty and has taken the liberty to go behind activisions back and severely turn down the sbmm. i feel amazing playing mw3 and am able to appreciate everything the game has to offer from 10v10 on OG maps or the small map moshpit that includes original maps that everyone enjoys playing on and not just shipment. compare the meat grinder maps to bo6 with everything in the face off playlist, its brain dead and mind numbing playing the game. sledgehammer has done a spectacular job and it feels so good to be able to say something positive about a recent cod game. highly recommend going back with your buds to play mw3 and imagine its 2009. would also love to see you maybe make a video on this if you end up having the same experience as i am right now. love the vids and the messages you put out, thanks for being awesome
This is why I haven't played much multiplayer yet. I stopped playing MW2 because of raging, so if I have a decent game and get shadow banned, I just won't want to play it anyway. It really feels like they wanted to focus more on Zombies and Warzone, more so on the former, this year. Maybe I'll try for dark matter eventually, but the game seems to have worse problems than mw 2019 multiplayer did in season 4 and after. (Only specify that since I stopped playing MW2 and never picked up MW3)
Fun fact: Hackers can now manipulate the game code (as it’s public) to trick the game into thinking they’re using a console. Me and my buddies were in a match with several very low level “PlayStation Players” who were ripping the lobby apart with quad feed headshots through walls, on core too by the way. We are officially fucked.

Call of Duty has lost so much respect from me that honestly I want cheaters and hackers to infest COD. In reality the cheaters and hackers are the real heroes here; ruining the game so we stop playing this shit game.
5 shots to the head for a AR is wild. like i get people are bad at the game but i should never take more than 3 shot to the head to get a kill.

I turn crossplay OFF, and I would never play ranked mode. With crossplay on every game has a cheater.
