Except that she is not a 4xl. She's more like a 7x or 8x, I was in a 5xl at 420lbs and 5'7", she weighs like 200lbs more than my highest weight and is 5" shorter than me, how she puts a 4x on without tearing it is beyond me.

I think it’s the marketing of the company who sold her the dress. I have some loved ones who unfortunately struggle with obesity. They would be a size XL or XXL. She’s bigger than both of them. I hate to admit this, but watching her, I feel bad for her, she clearly needs therapy and an inpatient treatment, but damn if watching a compilation of her delusions doesn't make me think twice about what I'm eating that day and more lately, I get up and walk a mile. I can thank her for inspiring me to walk 2-8 miles a day.

SAME. I was 187 lbs or 85 KG & went down to 57 KG or 125 lbs so I dropped 28 KG or 62 pounds with time. She keeps me in check to remind myself to never get to her size 😩
@ToothlessPotter HI! To be fair, I'm extremely disciplined with my diet. I basically cut out useless carbs & also dairy(minus eggs & greek yogurt). The only carb I can't cut out is rice. But bread, pizza, donuts, & anything of that sort are empty & useless carbs for me. I don't drink soda at all nor do I eat fast food in general. I drink about 2-3 liters of water everyday too. So about 5-7 16.9 oz bottles on the daily. My diet is rather "tough" for some because of how much things I decide to cut & it's definitely not for everyone. I still do have cheat meals of course, but I do my best to keep a clean diet. Hope all of this helps!!!
At this point Amber is a lost cause. I'm in the middle of a weight loss journey myself, and the last thing I want to do is waste money on clothes while at my heaviest weight. She is content with where she is.

I wish you well on your weight loss journey & I hope that my own experience encourages you. When I crushed my spine in two places, the damage was inoperable. So, I had to lie in a Stryker frame in the ICU & do everything lying flat, to enable healing. I put on weight & my colleagues were giving me lots of excuses as to why losing weight would be difficult & I needn't worry. For a start, when I was discharged, in a body cast, ALL exercise was forbidden. However, knowing what it was like to operate on & care for people who were even moderately overweight, never mind morbidly obese, I drank only sparkling water, instead of soda & weighed everything that I ate. Within 3 months, I had lost 41lbs. Even small changes can make a massive difference. This is a grown woman, not a child & is only fooling herself, NOT those who watch her.
Amber spends money like the UA-cam gravy trains never going to end, she has nothing to fall back on. She’s going to be seriously screwed, we’ll see soon enough who’s the one losing weight because they can’t afford to buy fast food 😏

I lost 30 pounds in 3 months from an already normal weight (within range just not where I feel best). Someone her size should be able to drop 3X as much in that time span. Idk how she doesn’t see how ridiculous single digit loss over 6+ months is for a 600 pound woman!

As someone who was 350 pounds (120 down!!!) I can say there is absolutely no way that a 4 at torrid is actually her size. I wore a 3 and she, at this size is 2 of what I was around the hips, waist and arms. If you hear seams bursting when ya put it on, it ain't your size. When the material is sucked into your rolls it doesn't fit. When a slight gust of wind will show what's supposed to be your butt when it's supposed to be just above the knee, it does not fit. 😮💨 I have no clue how she thinks she looks good unless she has a fetish for it along with being the narcissist she is.
My highest weight was 320 and I wore a 3x while also being taller and more muscular. However, a 4x for me wouldve been comfortable if i wanted something baggy. these 4x's do NOT fit her. She forgets how a dress is actually supposed to fit someone's body and is too damn proud to go up to 5 or 6x.

She sews and since I've been old enough to buy my own clothes, she will chase me down and be like, "You need that hemmed, that needs to be altered." It can be a nuisance, but sometimes seeing someone wearing something that is ill-fitting makes you realize that it's important to wear well fitted clothes.

Honestly Amberlynn is paying for a service. I'm actually gonna give that one to ALR, I'm never fully sure what material certain clothes are made of and how they may feel unless I can see them in person, while she orders online. For example, some of my cotton t-shirts are more thick and rigid, while others are lightweight and flowy and ideal for PJs, and others still are somewhere in between and better for going out. And all my t-shirts are largely dark and look very similar

I worked for a store very similar to Torrid and had to pay attention when I ordered clothes and I always check fabric tags. Like, a Rayon/Spandex blend is probably our gorl’s favorite, and anything with more polyester instead wouldn’t have as much stretch.

This is what unresolved childhood trauma and zero self love looks like. I feel for her but , she’s been adult who’s been offered all the tools needed to correct these poor living styles. What makes me nuts is HOW she talks about clothes fitting. Do her clothes fit? I'll give it to her on the technicality that she can actually get her body into them. Do they fit well? No. When things are pulling and puckering, they're too tight. But Amber will stand there and exclaim, "Oh my gosh you guys this fits sooooo well!!! This is definitely proof of my weight loss!!! If Amber don't start exercising on a true regular basis her shelf will start to sag more and more.... She does not have a lot of muscle tone and apparently working out is a concept for her at times but as always she has her excuses when she quits AKA fails especially in all the challenges that she makes up or herself when it comes to exercising and walking.
It’s a mess that she can’t/ won’t figure out. She’s now menopausal and has been incredibly sedentary her entire like. She has zero muscle tone. Muscle use burns more calories than just dragging around fat. It’s a nasty cycle that she can’t break. She’s sedentary, no calorie burn. No muscle, no calorie burn. Torrid clothes don't have the sizes as xl XXL etc. their sizes go as size 1 2 etc. I wear torrid clothes so that's how I know this.

@ToothlessPotter HI! To be fair, I'm extremely disciplined with my diet. I basically cut out useless carbs & also dairy(minus eggs & greek yogurt). The only carb I can't cut out is rice. But bread, pizza, donuts, & anything of that sort are empty & useless carbs for me. I don't drink soda at all nor do I eat fast food in general. I drink about 2-3 liters of water everyday too. So about 5-7 16.9 oz bottles on the daily. My diet is rather "tough" for some because of how much things I decide to cut & it's definitely not for everyone. I still do have cheat meals of course, but I do my best to keep a clean diet. Hope all of this helps!!!
At this point Amber is a lost cause. I'm in the middle of a weight loss journey myself, and the last thing I want to do is waste money on clothes while at my heaviest weight. She is content with where she is.

I wish you well on your weight loss journey & I hope that my own experience encourages you. When I crushed my spine in two places, the damage was inoperable. So, I had to lie in a Stryker frame in the ICU & do everything lying flat, to enable healing. I put on weight & my colleagues were giving me lots of excuses as to why losing weight would be difficult & I needn't worry. For a start, when I was discharged, in a body cast, ALL exercise was forbidden. However, knowing what it was like to operate on & care for people who were even moderately overweight, never mind morbidly obese, I drank only sparkling water, instead of soda & weighed everything that I ate. Within 3 months, I had lost 41lbs. Even small changes can make a massive difference. This is a grown woman, not a child & is only fooling herself, NOT those who watch her.
Amber spends money like the UA-cam gravy trains never going to end, she has nothing to fall back on. She’s going to be seriously screwed, we’ll see soon enough who’s the one losing weight because they can’t afford to buy fast food 😏

As someone who was 350 pounds (120 down!!!) I can say there is absolutely no way that a 4 at torrid is actually her size. I wore a 3 and she, at this size is 2 of what I was around the hips, waist and arms. If you hear seams bursting when ya put it on, it ain't your size. When the material is sucked into your rolls it doesn't fit. When a slight gust of wind will show what's supposed to be your butt when it's supposed to be just above the knee, it does not fit. 😮💨 I have no clue how she thinks she looks good unless she has a fetish for it along with being the narcissist she is.

I'm actually gonna give that one to ALR, I'm never fully sure what material certain clothes are made of and how they may feel unless I can see them in person, while she orders online. For example, some of my cotton t-shirts are more thick and rigid, while others are lightweight and flowy and ideal for PJs, and others still are somewhere in between and better for going out. And all my t-shirts are largely dark and look very similar

I worked for a store very similar to Torrid and had to pay attention when I ordered clothes and I always check fabric tags. Like, a Rayon/Spandex blend is probably our gorl’s favorite, and anything with more polyester instead wouldn’t have as much stretch.
