And she’s doing exactly what anorexics do but on the opposite end of the spectrum. She’s lying to herself and saying it’s not that bad. Amber isn't 25 or even 50 pounds overweight. And I'm sorry but if someone decides to eat themselves to 500 + pounds they absolutely deserve to be criticized and yes, judged. Especially when you decide to monitoze being a self absorbed glutton with no self control and very little desire to acquire any. If it wasn't for this judgment Amber wouldn't even be pretending to try anymore. She would have openly given up years ago but it's the sociatal pressure and judgment that keeps her from doing so because she knows then she wouldn't make as much money because the vast majority of society is still not accepting of someone eating themselves to the size of a grizzly bear and leading an almost entirely sedentary life. Society doesn't like greedy lazy people and that is built into us through evolution so good luck changing it, Amber. It goes back to basic human survival. The tribe isn't going to survive if there are greedy lazy people taking more than their share and refusing to do any work and just sitting on their ass all day eating all of the food. Amber is lucky to have been born in this day and age instead of even 100 years ago that's for sure but it's still deeply engrained in us to dislike, resent and even feel threatened by people like Amber.
