Yo, very seriously. You need to contact facepunch about the conveyor problems you were having. You understand it better than any of us, and they take these things seriously if its a glitch. At the least you can get some solid confirmation if it's a feature or not.
I've watched almost every video of this guy and he really speaks like a successful and caring engineer. I recommend you watch each of his works and use the like button if you like them. This man is the best electrical engineer Rust has ever seen. HOLYYYYYYYYY SYSTEM
I am always terrible at things like this in Rust but your video is amazing from start to end. Very knowledgeable and explained simple enough to understand. You're a master of your craft sir!
Probably the most epic video you published yet! It's so cool and entertaining to see but realistically most players would not even try. Is it possible to see this concept in a simpler form for example just one workbench crafter crafting guns, ammo and meds?
Could you use this to set up a craft shop? Like someone puts the things to make an Ak in a drop box it crafts the AK then puts it in the shop for 100 scrap? Be a cool new shop to craft people things that might not have the BP but have some things laying around to get a gun crafted or T2.
@@AustinKlailaGames I play a lot of pve servers so it turns rust into adult minecraft so you can get away with cool builds like a craft shop. My server wipes soon I made a big ship with all kinds of traps for people to raid but next wipe I want to set up a town and was trying to think of new things. I don't think I've seen anyone set up a craft shop like that so the people in my town might like it. Can't wait for the video. I like power in rust but at times it seems like you need to go to school to learn half of what you can do.
WTF bro u deserve a lot of respect. like WTF im quite new to rust end electricity, but u got me hooked! Also, how can you make thes sexy looking cable placemnts? Is it just practise?
Now i only need multiple small bases working together and my life would be fulfilled Imagine having a "web" of bases If one gets raided it exports its loot into the export circuite and disables the "pull circuite" effectively emptying the base (Point is keeping upkeep LOW & extending wffective range over longer diatances) Imagining something like multiple mini forts / a bunker, smelter base and a boat or garage bases to transport the loot safely without fear of doorcampers
Although extremely unlikely given that there are thousands of options, it would be bad. You could easily reset the system with a new number if that occurred.
Hey : Nice baby. I just discover your channel thanks to this video. And I suscribed. ^^ Like you, I really like propers diagrams. I hope you will find time to edit a full tutorial of your creation. Have fun !
Ah excellent I've only really started playing around with electricity and industrial parts. I will set that up, coupled with the storage monitor on tc to see what sold. I want to set up the base to do everything itself based on metal frag sales. Buying wood/ore for the smelters, the output goes into the shop. Eventually I would like to have a security system that exfers loot away from a destroyed door, say keeping two doors away at all times.
Can you get copy/paste mod, then export the JSON file so i can import this to fortify @austin Klaila Games? I think this could be a great service to the Rust community. Thanks for your consideration!
Wire them in parallel instead of series. Place 18 conveyors(9 ea in and out), 4+ combiners, 4 splitters. Combine all in and out from conveyors. Splitters before conveyors on wood/ore in, combiners after conveyors on out. Get it? That way every mover can fill/empty every furnace. Trust me, give it a shot.
You definitely want multiple kill switches, and keep conveyors in expensive raid spots .. imagine these feed a locker with the conveyor in the bedroom .. raiders could just re-configure it to drain your loot without going deep.
Wildly complicated because of Rust logic... as am electrical contractor in RL, I find it so frustrating that Rust electrical was made to be more complicated than RL.. Whomever designed ti should have spoken to an electrician (even and apprentice) and an electronics engineer. Could have made such a better system.. qqqqq :/
this is so extra I made a crafter that does the same thing in 20 mins having never done a auto crafter before. you don't need so many conveyors you can daisy chain them together
I mean other then the power savings I don't really understand the purpose of this system. Like the time and cost of this system is kinda pointless unless your running this on a modded 2x or more server. Not to mention if your the type to mess with auto crafting systems their are alot of cheaper and simpler setups.
It's primarily designed for a decent size group who wants to change up the game a bit. It's certainly not going to be something most players build. The risk would be insanely high. Beyond that, I just like to see how far I can take RUST electrical / industrial.
There's a group that contacted me and requested I R&D this as part of a specific plan they have for a wipe. I agreed, so here we are. So no, it's not complex for the sake of being complex.@@The_Blue_Portal
Yeah.... stopping in the first 7 minutes of the video because you have to do something that your system doesn't do isn't really the best way to show that your system is awesome. As far as I'm concerned, no matter how complicated this thing was or how much time you spent figuring out how to make it happpen.. the fact that you had to stop to 'sort' the boxes out and your machine was just 'not doing it' makes me not even wanna finished watching the video.
@@AustinKlailaGames hey would you be able to design something more practical and compact for official that does the same job also how do I deal with the short circuit issues with piping that that test branch has going on. I think I reached max piping if that’s true then console can’t build what you have due to too much piping which is sad
Awesome looking but definitely not something I or anyone I know will ever do. Way too complicated and expensive to maintain and one raid and all that hard work is gone.

Is it possible to get a rust + alert when you sell an item from a shop?
Yes. You could hook up the Filter Pass on a conveyor to a Smart Alarm. Anytime the conveyor refilled a purchased item, it would notify you.
I might make a video about this actually. Thanks!

I could do that, actually. This version of The Factory is very outdated. You might consider waiting for the updated version.

I need small factory for solo base
You definitely want multiple kill switches, and keep conveyors in expensive raid spots .. imagine these feed a locker with the conveyor in the bedroom .. raiders could just re-configure it to drain your loot without going deep.
Most raiders are really dumb though.
They can reconfigure it without TC?
Unless you locked the locker? They would then have to destroy it, therefore destroying the conveyers
I always put multiple workbenches for the crafters. I just can't get the blueprint switch in 1 crafter.. i always endup with like 4-5 workbenches😂😂😂
Sometimes that's literally the easiest way lol
