ok i think i figured out the lore. samus died time ago, the spice pirates or weyland yutani corporation started to make clones of samus, with the intention of make weapons, all the clones were failed and ended up as amalgamations. samus XVIII was the only succesfull clon, so succesfull she killed the other inactive samus in power suits, And leave the planet, the chozo decided to make an private funeral for samus, and this clone decided to go.
This is an awesome romhack made by Digital Mantra. Some quick notes by me: -the "Cloned" counter in the end means how many times you loaded your game, I think. It can't be deaths because I didn't die a single time in this playthrough -in that room after the savepoint, you're supposed to die, or at least reload your game. This counts as a "clone" if I'm not wrong, so it's impossible to have zero clones in the end -I'd love if somebody could give me some sort of map with all the secrets in this hack, I'm unable to find everything by myself... -if you pay close attention, in the room at 5:30, there's no number at the top of the big container. After you die and reload the game, you respawn in this container and it says "XVIII" at the top. Later in the train, you see that container XVIII is empty. There's also a person in the credits called "ProjectXVIII" so it might also reference them
The mod author actually uploaded a map detailing every single item's location over in this post forum.metroidconstruction.com/index.php/topic,5273.msg68304.html#msg68304 Max count for energy tanks is 12, 60 for missiles, 20 for rockets/super missiles, and 10 for power bombs.
the more that makes you wonder. Every energy tanks you gathered, every energy charging stations you encountered is every part of the previous Samus Clones lifeforce, life blood.😱😣🤔
Hey There! Ive been wanting to do a VITALITY remix for a while now and During the Remix I would like to use this video in the Background. If I may Please have permission to Include this in my video with Credit of The channel and Video. If Not I understand. Thank you!
I loved both the ending and the song, giving a context where you feel "this is not a happy ending, but its over.....it's just over"

So Samus were destined to die on this planet? All those revitalize , those cant be the actual Samus anymore ,it was someone else
no planet exploding planet in the end, thank god, thumbs up

@@RyanCordel oh thank you very much! I couldn't find that
I need this rom in my life

i wonder how many people recognized the xenogears music.
great idea, bit obtuse and with plot holes sadly
Which plot holes? Im confused on the whole thing tbh
What
the power suit constantly being recreated seems questionable to me
Do you think this area was named after the Autechre album(s)?
I don't know about those, but I heard from someone else too
I would probably have to say yes for this area, tac lacora and pendulu moda

@@bowserknight Thank You!

Does anyone know where I can find the music that plays during the ending?
The one who is torn apart - Xenogears Soundtrack
@@justanewskrub Thank you so much man! I was actually still looking for that song, even after a year of searching I couldn't find it.
@@alexanderiskandar8379 No problem, just found this hack recently and was surprised to hear a SM version of a Xenogears song.
@@justanewskrub That is a double reference if you take into account the parts of the game in which that track usually plays and this hack's plot.
