Ingredients -
500 grams - Coarse Wheat Flour
500 grams - Grated Bottle gourd (Lauki / Dudhi)
50 grams - Regular Wheat Flour
25 grams - Besan
5 tbspoon - Ginger Green Chilli Paste
As required - Refined Oil
1/2 Cup - Curd
1 tspoon - Turmeric Powder
1 tspoon - Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
As per taste - Salt
1 tspoon - Asafoetida / Hing
4 tspoon - Sugar
1 tspoon - Carrom Seeds / Ajwain
1 tspoon - Cooking Soda
2 - Dry Red Chillies
3 tsp - Sesame Seeds (Safed Til)
2 tsp - Mustard Seeds (Rai)
5-7 - Curry Leaves
As required - Water

सुनीता जी, धन्यवाद, कुछ रेसिपी अधिक मात्रामें बनाई जाती है उसमें इस तरह से वजनमें बताता हूँ, 500 ग्राम गेहूँ का दरदरा आटा लिया है, मेजरिंग कप के नाप से 4 कप आटा है और 500 ग्राम छीलकर कद्दू कस की हुई लौकी और 3 बड़े चम्मच बेसन लिया है, बाकी सब मसाले स्वादानुसार कम ज्यादा ले सके।

No, Not in freezer, under the refrigerator. we can store it in airtight plastic container for 2-3 days.
Using too much oil
Yes, In less oil it becomes like rubber. In some traditional Gujarati recipe oil is must for a good taste, thanks for your comment.
Too much oil unhealthy
Thanks for your feedback, but Muthia is the traditional gujarati recipe, If we make it with less oil then it will stuck in throat. If you want good and perfect taste you have to add Oil in much quantity. we can't make halwa without Ghee Or Sugar, if we add less sugar or less ghee it's taste would be not so good. જેટલો ગોળ નાખો તેટલું ગળ્યું થાય. માર્કેટમાં જે વાટીદાળનાં ખમણ મળે છે તેમાં તેલ સારા પ્રમાણમાં હોય છે, જો તેલ ઓછું હોય તો ખમણ ગળે બાજે. એટલે તેવી જ રીતે મૂઠિયાં ને જો પરફેક્ટ ટેસ્ટનાં બનાવવા હોય તો તેલનું મોણ સરખું જોઈએ અને વઘાર કરવામાં પણ તેલ સરખું જ મૂકવું પડે, ઓછું તેલ વાપરો તો રબ્બર જેવા થઈ જાય, આ રીતે બનાવશો તો ઠંડા તમેં બીજા દિવસે બ્રેકફાસ્ટમાં ખાઓ તો પણ બિલ્કુલ ગળે નહીં બાજે. મારા વડદાદીની આપેલી આ રીત છે. આભાર
