Building a 1/35 Scale PANZER III Ausf. M from DRAGON

2024. I start this year with a classic. Here is my way building a 1/35 Scale Panzer III Ausf. M model kit from DRAGON. Panzer III kits are extremely popular in the scale model community. So this is my turn to handle it.
Is it possible to build an impressive model without aftermarket kits?
It depends on the model kit. This DRAGON kit is a positive example.
This kit is wonderful designed. Great fitting parts, highly detailed and accurate. If you on the search for a nearly complete Panzer III kit, then search for this one.

Hallo,
sehr schöner Panzer III mit Vignette. Sehr gut mit den Bildern und Untertiteln erklärt und dargestellt.
Zu den Metallteilen vorm Airbrushen. Bei Messing lege ich das Material in AK interactive Brass Photoetch Burnishing, wenn es sich um Thoma-Schürzen oder Lüftergitter handelt. Bei Alu nehme ich den Metalprimer von Tamiya, der mit einem Pinsel vorher auftragen wird. AK interactive Farben mit einer Spritzpistole aufgetragen haften danach sehr gut. Jetzt nochmal ein schönes Wochenende.🙂🙂

Ich grundiere die Fotoätzteile normalerweise mit dem Gunze Metal Primer. Habe ich diesmal vergessen. 😁

Danke Robi, schön das Du noch die Zeit gefunden hast weiter zu schauen. 😁
Die Ketten kannst Du entweder direkt vom Hersteller Friul bestellen oder über Onlinehändler wie z. B. Modellbau König. Google einfach mal nach Friul Ketten. Die haben auch einen UA-cam Kanal. Du kannst auch mal bei ebay schauen da sind die Ketten evtl. günstiger. Die sind nämlich ganz schön teuer. Viel Glück.

RFM kit is a better mould,though it tears my heart and soul to admit it.

Interesting Darron, thanks for the info. Years ago I had build a Tiger from RFM. As I can remember the quality and the mould was fine. They are doing a nice job.

@@DIORAMUS- First RFM kit was Revosys-VK3602 a dragon clone type kit and on par with dragons best.The Tiger was an Academy approach with a few tweaks,in my opinion the worst Rye field kit available.The Panther was their first pure Rye field moulding,and is flawless(first release had clear styrene parts,later “cutaway” museum edition has all normal styrene options)

Their Firefly kit is particularly well moulded with plenty of surface textures and cast marks.I’ve built most of range and haven’t been let down yet.

RFM seems to be underrated. I will have a focus on their kits in the future. Most of my projects are commissioned works so I don't know which kit comes next.
