Fantastic tutorial, guitar sounds awesome as well. If I was looking for a tutor, it would have to be you. You don’t talk to much, as someone mentioned? It’s a very in-depth tutorial, so we can learn much more than the song we are learning, which is a bonus. I’ve subscribed 🎉
Thanks so much! The tabs really helped me out to play it more accurately. Ive played this one before at church but just played the main intro riff and full overdrive on the chords for chorus and bridge and it seemed to sound ok since I'm the only electric/lead guitar. I just swelled the full chords or just the root of the chord and it worked ok. Be blessed Brother. I liked and subscribed.
Yea transposing can be a pain. I’m posing it in E here so if you need it in D just move everything down 2 frets. As long as nothing is on any open strings that should do it!
One of the best tutorials I’ve ever seen, great resource, Joel!

Great tutorial! Your voice sounds so much like another guitar teacher named David Wallaman
What key is this in looks like it was published in C
E
Yep! We are in E here. I’m going off of the Charity Gayle version.
Is this in Key E?
Yes indeed.

You talk too much
Ah do I? Or do you not listen enough? 🤔
Yo, I think it helps some of us who are transitioning to lead from acoustic.
