yesssss. You know its your fault I even ended up binging all of yours and AJ Pickett's content. These guides to the abyss and layers of hell are truly what got me into DnD lore videos.
This one is on point. Writing was clean and you didn't really repeat yourself, it had good flow, prose was solid, great stuff. Pacing was perfect, not too fast or slow, moved at that perfect pace so the imagination can lazily drift along your words. Audio mix on point, visual flow worked great (seems a little faster than your usual), delivery was soft and calm, but engaging and pleasant to the ear. Only criticism I can possibly think of is in delivery, where some of your sibilant S's come through the mic a little strong, but that's a very small thing and not that easy to work on anyway, that's like vocal coach stuff. (though there's other potential fixes too) Anyways, only real complaint is I wish you had twice as much to talk about, so there would be twice as much video to enjoy. lol Your best work so far imo. Looking forward to the last layer, and curious to see where you go next. Personally would love to see some of the planes other youtubers don't really do. Like, hardly anybody has done Limbo. Keep up the good work though.
Most of the info comes from ForgottenRealmsWiki, if they are light on something I'll look elsewhere. Most of the Art is AI using stuff like tabletop models or the text descriptions, if it has a border it's official art.
Chains of Asmodeus has some good stuff in it. The main adventure needs some work from the DM but the individual levels and encounters are all fantastic
I basically did nessus as the first episode. I agree though that this series needs some kind of conclusion. In the future, I will combine them all into one super episode, I might reorder them or add some kind of conclusion.
lets fucking goooo dude, ive been waiting for this one : ) out of curiosity, what are you planning on covering next? will you continue with covering the outer planes, or move on to something different?
No idea, I'm finishing up the underdark series with illithids and the necromancy series with liches. After that I don't have a real plan. I would be interested if you have any recommendations!
@@Lorepaedia Honestly, i think, anything you cover will be good, die to the pure quality and passion you approach it. But maybe a series about the different races? Or selected god's which you Like?
@@Lorepaedia if you wanted to keep with having two prime material/planar series (like how it's been necromancy+underdark / baator), maybe go across and around the Great Wheel? across from the Nine Hells is Arborea, and after that go left or right. although im not sure how much detail the other planes really get canonically, if it'd be enough to fill out a video
I don’t understand why Asmodeus allows Mephistopheles to carry on with his schemes. If Asmodeus’s goal is to keep devils busy with the Blood War in order to advance his plan of dominating the outer spheres, then it would also serve him well to have the arch devils that stay focused to that end. Mephistopheles doesn’t really participate in the Blood War, and he doesn’t do more than the bare minimum for the soul tithe, either. It would be better for Asmodeus to promote and allow devils to rule layers that are focused on the Blood War. They’ll have their attention directed towards a war that can’t be won, the demons of the Abyss will be further culled yet never actually conquered, and Asmodeus will have to do minimum culling of uppity devils as the only ones that rise will be those that perform in the Blood War.

Pickett is the GOAT
@Lorepaedia He truly is the man. 10 years of top-quality DnD lore. Such a nice dude too.
I spent a couple months listening to A.J. Pickets back catalog haha. Guy is prodigious.
@@Martdogg3000 He truly is lol. Great content to fall asleep to.
Yea both you and aj are my nighly listen.😊
I really enjoy the fact you pronounced "crevasses" correctly.
I think this is the first comment about my pronunciation that wasn't someone saying I messed up haha, thanks!
Loved this one thanks. Best series of the 9 hells on yt.
Thanks, I really appreciate it, it was a long trip!
My favorite layer! Thank you for this series brother🙏🏻🔥🥶

Thanks so much for the detailed feedback, I'm glad some of the audio changes were an improvement. I can probably increase the S filter a bit.
I love sleeping to these.
Sweet dreams nothing ever happens guy.
Everything is great but maybe tune down the volume of the looping background music.
Will do, thanks!
Another one knocked out of the park!
Thanks! ⚾

Keep up the great work ! Love from Palestine
I really appreciate it, will do!
Somebody has to put together something in Cania. Love the mysterious wild it exudes.
For sure.

Mephistopholes having ADHD may be my favorite bit of fiendish lore ever.
The coolest nerd in Hell.
Heck yeah another video

@@figgybeans just going around the great wheel is not a bad idea. Maybe I can theme some creature stuff around that. Thanks.
So you talked about Nessus a bit back in the Asmodeus video, does that mean it's time to go clockwise around the great ring and start on Acheron?
I think so, I'm kind of lost in the mutliverse lol

I assume this is what the devils talk about after work (albeit carefully)

Can't be a good cop if you don't know the law, as we see day in and day out not a lot of them know the law..... Think about that.
