Dimensions are as follows (mm) 220 x 98 x 53. (Excludes side mounting brackets).
I just measured the width including the side brackets and C-clamps and get 25.5cm
@@AuthentiKit okay my measurements are just of the main body, excluding side clamps.
I've just received and built this, its really great. It takes the Comanche up a level in VR. Thanks for the heads up!
Thanks for putting this video up. I went straight to the seller but was sold out. I sent a message today to ask if or when he would re stock, i got an email an hour or so latter saying he had 5 more just come in and not to wait. I put my order in with just 3 left. I have watched the instal video and was very impressed with the way its built and put together. Can't wait to receive mine. Thanks again as i would never have found out about this brilliant throttle quadrant.
Phil finally did it and developed a GA setup. I told him that it's going to be difficult to not go down the AuthentiKit road now. 😉
Ordered the full kit, just what I have been looking for Mark. Thank you :)
Hope you enjoy it!
ok just send it via post no need for a bow lol and another good informative video Thank You
Confessions - This is LEGO for grown-ups (or Meccano) and it's brilliant! What a time to be alive :)
😂
7:45 those ferrules are tiny, what tool did you use to crimp them? I hope this is a great success, the biggest hurdle for me was Authentikit didn't include the 3D printed parts in their kits.
I just used a small flat end screwdriver, just a push down and they crimp onto the wire.
I really wish you could buy this already assembled 😢
Give it a go...😀
Is it the same size as the actual controls in the real aircraft do you know ? Thanks 👍
@@SteveBOZZY I believe so according to Authentikit.
Seems like a nice kit. Thanks for showing it
It looks great Phil! Beautiful work. I built an entire spitfire cockpit from Authentikit, never having 3D print experience and its been magical in VR. Place them in perfect space and the immersion is unparalleled.
My vision realised! Many thanks for sharing. Hope you've got space for the engine start add on I've got in prototype on my desk - fuel cock, magnetos, start/boost, primer and fuel pump
@@AuthentiKit I will, as I'm in the middle of building a 6DOF Stewart platform. Learning to weld right now
That’s a great overview Mark. I really appreciate your support. Your lighting rig is fantastic too - puts mine in the shade😉
width of entire unit when mounted? @desktopaviator977 responded to me, but it sounds as though he might be referring to the extended length of the levers.
@@mikekaduce Full width including C clamps is 25.5cm
How to assign the brake to make it on/off? (MSFS A2A Commance)
It is shown and explained in the video. Check after 10:00 timestamp
@@SimHangerFSthx sry for being lazy thought I’ve already tried that works now
Really impressed with this, just started printing this today
Let me know what you think. I am honestly impressed.
it would be a huge help if I could bother you to perhaps take a lateral measurement of the size of this unit, left to right, when mounted?
If i'm correct the unit is 22x10x5cm
The levers are between 12-10cm long.
Dimensions are as follows (mm) 220 x 98 x 53. Left to right is 220mm
Could this be made to work with Xbox ? Either home brew or by SMS/Aurthentikit
I don’t think that is possible unfortunately.
I looked into this for ages, hoping to find some kind of adapter, but found nothing that did the job.
@@AuthentiKit Xbox compatibility requires the inclusion of a '' chip'' and subject to MS approval.
