Wow, I astonished at all the comments making this sound like it’s on another planet. I’m from coastal N,C and mobile home parks that look just like this dot the landscape. Everywhere.Ive seen a lot worse, In fact, I lived in a trailer that was literally falling apart. When my dad left my mom, she had no employable skills except sewing. And that’s what she did for a snooty decor place and made rich people gorgeous ruffled drapes, holiday themed decor etc and made 4.75 an hour (in 1980) when I believe minimum wage was around 3.50. We were able to live in a pretty nice house than a large townhouse apt for a few years because my mom took care of both her sick and elderly parents. When they died, it was catastrophic for us financially. Her snob of a brother who had a degree and a well paying job, generously helped her buy a used mobile home. She it was taken to a quiet well kept MHP where she paid a monthly rent for the lot. Here’s the thing about MH’s- they are ironically not made to be mobile and even high end ones, and they do exist - are flimsy and you have to stay on top of repairs. But my mom could barely provide the bare necessities for me & my sis, much less repair a heating duct, than the heat/air unit it’s self died. So I remember many times FA-REEZING my ass off. She managed to get an oil heater -which is extremely not recommended for a trailer but that’s all we could do. Than the foundation started degrading. I walked in my bedroom one night and one leg went through the floor, my foot was on the ground- it’s a wonder I didn’t break my damn leg. But you just have to manage best you can. Few Years later my Mom had started a very successful housecleaning business. Customers loved her! And the old trailer was put down. I was so happy to see her brand new single wide replace the old one. She lived in that park 34 yrs, the park owner had finally decided to sell it and she was ( and still is) sad she had to leave. She kept her trailer in near pristine condition, it was over 20 yrs old. And throughout she had made custom drapes, seat cushions, valances- when the lady that bought it cake to look, she nearly begged for my mom to let her keep all that stuff and paid extra for it. She lives in a very nice apt in a wooded area and has a screened porch. It took some getting used to, but I told her it really was a good thing. She’s almost 80, is a full time caregiver (again) to her severely disabled husband. She doesn’t need to mow the grass, if something breaks she calls the manager. It’s fine. Sorry this is a longer comment- but the disparaging remarks struck a nerve. *oh, and I just have to mention- people making big fucking deals about “tiny houses”. I don't like the area it looks all muddy, maybe Python & Crocodile infested, and the trailer looks like a dump, maybe Okies lived in it !
Who are you kidding. The road, rain or no rain, is a mess of pot holes. If your trying to sell anything to people how about you keep it in good repair.

Good starter for someone just starting off! Just like cars...we didn’t care as long as they had wheels! Perfect place to save money! Step it up folks and help this woman! Kick your 45 year old son out and get him on his own! He can afford this place working at mc Donald’s!
