yo sonny great vid! long distance tier list next? also random note, i rlly like the core fx for middle distance. its also a great pick for other age groupers too, cuz we do a ton of sprints and 200s and i think how good it is for 200 and below makes up for not being as good as the valor in say 400+, as age groupers rlly dont swim those events. btw its not even bad for 400+, i personally wear it for 400/500 free, but there def is better for longer events

I've really noticed racing in a Pure Intent for one and a half seasons (yes I somehow went that long in the same suit) that it is not the suit for me. Bought it cos there was a sale and my club was with speedo so £150 (half price) was a great deal. But as a 100 / 200 backstroker it ain't it, coming from air^2.
What I have noticed though is it feels alot better in sprint events and has held up surprisingly well. The air^2 is always on its last legs come end of season even if bought in November / December. As for the intent, the water repellency is pretty much gone but compression and taping still feels great on sprint fly and free.
Now contemplating whether to go back to the air^2 which is £50 more expensive than 2 years ago, to go for a valor as my brother and a few mates have it, going for a TYR suit, or even to try my luck finding a mizuno mr on amazon Japan.
Was wondering what are the best backstroke suits, that will also serve me fine in 50/100 fly, & 50/100/200 free

I need a way to get these Japanese Arena suits in the States
Would you use the Mizuno Multi Racer for a 200 breast or 400 IM ? Or would the pure valor be better for those events? My son already has the Mizuno MR and I’m wondering if I should get him the Mizuno Sprinter or Pure Valor as his second suit. If we get the Mizuno Sprinter then the Multi Racer would be for the breast and 400 IM, which I’m not sure about. Also thanks for another great video! Your videos on tech suits and how to take care of them, finding the right fit etc. have been awesome! Will definitely buy from swim outlet using your link!
It’s down to him. If he likes compression stick with it. People have smashed 4IM in Zuno. If he wants more comfort get him a Valor, they are opposite ends of the spectrum.
If he like Mizuno but wants a tad more give for 4IM an SL is the way to go

I am a little surprised you ranked the Pure Valor higher than the Avictor, granted I've never worn an Avictor but they seem to be very similar to the Pure Valor on paper
They are almost identical…. But Valor is way cheaper in the UK

Based on your videos my 12-year-old decided to give the MIZUNO MR a try for 400m free which was a fantastic decision, indeed ;). The only thing is that the water comes in during flip turns (even worse in the case of Speedo Pure Intent HIGH WAIST for 100m free and fly). Would you have any pieces of advice?
